I agree, it is inappropriate for a children's meal. I know their strategy is to be edgy, but I think they are going too far.
You say this before dates, too, don't you?
The Burger King guy is beyond creepy. I hope he doesn't appear in the Star Trek promotion commercials.

Apparently they're already on sale in Germany. Which means I'll have dinner at BK tomorrow.
I kinda like these toys. And as someone pointed out at Trekmovie.com, it's sure weird that the BK toys feature a better likeness of the actors than the Playmates toys.

As for the toys...I don't like them. Spock is doing the salute wrong with his thumb in, and the saucer sections on the ships look like they're about 5 decks thick. Why is there a Klingon cruiser when the Narada is clearly the main "bad-guy ship"? I don't get it.

I had some cheeseburgers and a Kirk, Bones, Spock and Original Spock today. I like these toys. Except the soundbites. At least our German version sounds as if one guy had voiced all of the characters. Hmmm....

I don't like these..the ships etc..are ok but the humans...ugh..!Uhura is the absolute worst of the lot......you'd never know by that toy that she was good looking in any life, in any time line...REALLY BAD!! Pine and Quinto look bizarre as well -- the other are "OK"...i mean come on they didn't have a focus group to run this by?

They're going with calling a D7 battle cruiser a warbird? Wasn't this a minor and annoying controversy the first year of ENTERPRISE when the Klingon ships were called "warbirds" and the fanbase complained that that was a Romulan term?
They've got the tricorder and communicator but no phaser. What gives?
I'm betting they don't want kids in BK to have "guns".
I'm surprised someone hasn't done a less characterized sketch or photoshop of the new Klingon ship yet.
Eh, Klingon and Romulan ships/terminologies have been interchangeable since the eighties... or was that the sixties?
That's what I figured too. Kind of silly. Kids play cops and robbers or cowboys and indians with fake pistols. I think a futuristic looking weapon would be alright.
