As the monkey at ThinkGeek who helped design this thing, and a HUGE Star Trek fan, I wanted to make something that felt like we actually swiped it from the ship itself. I have #2 on my desk, and I must say I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Hope you all like it too.

Like I said... you released it ONE DAY too late for me :guffaw: Your shipping monkeys already sent out my shirt/tribble and Blade Runner umbrella yesterday, and there is no way I can justify another 20 buck purchase to my wife....

Looks about as dangerous as a Joe Tormolen butter knife. Anyway, my wife would probable throw it away when its her turn to wash the dishes. :(
 
Lol thats ok. My order ID is 147dbbecc, I just thought it was hilarious that I ordered the shirt specifically for the movie to wear opening night and got a email about the Spork the next day.

One of those geez if I had only waited moments.
 
In college I wrote a sketch parody of a children's show and included a demented song about safety:

Sporks not forks go in the electrical socket!
Sporks not forks go in the electrical socket!

The logic being that sporks are always made of plastic because I've only ever seen them in school cafeterias and KFCs. This blows that theory out of the water.

Don't stick these sporks in electrical sockets.

I love the spork and I've been saying for months that they need to be standard in all flatware set. Do you know how easy it is to eat pasta or Panda Express with a spork?

Now it's available as a standard issue Starfleet product. Good news indeed. :)
 
Lets see... Pike had 203 crew, Classic Kirk had 430.. with 1701 sporks aboard many of the crew can lose theirs!

Isn't titanium waaay out of date as a leading edge metal by Trek XI's time?

Fun fact: if you weld titanium in an oxygen atmoshere the metal loses it's strength; with all those welders in Iowa working on the 1701 out in the open she cant be made of titanium!

BTW I just got everything in today. Love the shirt and I know my wife is going to love the Tribble (going to try to get her to bring it to the movie lol) and the umbrella came in really handy today and has to be one of the best opening umbrellas I have ever owned.
