One of the fundamental differences between men and women, in my opinion: Men bemoan the lack of female attention. Women bemoan the wrong male attention.

I have met very few of these people

Edit: Well I know a lot of women who get all the wrong male attention, but they invite and accept it. The same can be said for most of my male friends.

Personally... my complaint has never been a lack of attention, it's been that most of the attention comes from women that I have little to no interest in. Or are slightly insane, more trouble than they're worth or have any number of severe personality defects.

Thinking of it... I want a normal woman. I've met one in the past year... it's becoming annoying.

But I also still want Ben & Jerrys. And possibly a holiday. Neither of which I'm allowed to have

No such thing! I love women, I really do, but such a thing as a normal woman does not exist. They all have their quirks to one degree or the other. I would like to get together with women with slightly less mental problems then the ones that I seem to attract though.

Actually... thats too true. The one normal girl I was thinking of came with an over protective father and was terrified he'd find out her daughter was dated a wrestler. And a white man. With a child.

And she thought Star Wars was better than Trek. Thats no way to begin a romance.

I want to figure out what in the hell I want to do next. Cars and house are paid off, kids are almost old enough to be out of the house, I'm in a happy, stable marriage, and I have no great unachieved ambitions.

What I want is to find something else to do for a living, and have it be something that really means something to me, instead of another work-a-day job like I've always had.

I think I might want to teach kids. I always enjoyed tutoring back in school. But I'm a little scared to do it for a living - I used to love computers back then, too, and then I started working on them for a living, and for a long time now I've been just about unable to stand the damned things.
