If you die how many people will attend your funeral?

Well, a fair amount of family since I have a massive number of relatives. Aside from that, maybe a couple dozen at the outside. If they all even knew about it, which is a bit iffy.

I imagine I would have between 15 and 30 if I died at this point in life. This number includes my sons, my mother, my siblings, an uncle, a couple of cousins, a couple of nephews and their partners, and my two closest friends. It is possible that some of my sons' friends would turn up as well.

I'll make sure everyone who knows me comes to my funeral - or I'll come back later to get them.

Oh, and no songs about this Danny Boy person either. ;)

But to answer the question properly, I'd be happy for my closest friends, family and other intimate acquaintances to be present, no matter how few are still left.

Zero. I've made it quite clear in my Will that i do not want a funeral. Just donate my body to science and leave it at that.

I don't know how many would attend (family would probably outnumber friends simply because of their sheer numbers, though I don't know how many acquaintances or co-workers would come), but TrekBBS will certainly go into a period of mourning when my GBOW threads stop coming. :p

Being dead I wouldn't much care. Though I might have to come up with some overly convoluted plot to draw people there, send them on a wild goose chase, and completely waste their time, followed bya reading of my Will which will simply state: HA! HA! HA! Suckers. Boot to the head!

I have no idea. I have a big family so there will be at least some people. I hope some friends and church members might come though.

My immediate and extended family is huge, and I have a decent number of friends who would hopefully still be around, so I would imagine there would be a pretty large gathering.

I want to be cremated, and keep the ceremonial stuff brief and lighthearted with an awesome spread of food, so hopefully that'll draw in the crowds and keep them there in numbers large enough to repel my enemies when they inevitably arrive to make a mess of things.

Just a few of my closest wino buddies, passing a bottle of Bright's Pale Dry Select Sherry around the burning barrel.

I imagine I'd pack the house, not because I have a ton of friends but I have a large family and since I'm young (33) with young kids and I'm known by a lot of people for the work I do at a summer camp I'd have a ton of people coming out if I were to die today.

The outpouring of support for my family would be impressive, that would drive a lot of attendance.

If I have my way, my funeral will be attended by mostly fish. Since I'll just be thrown into a lake somewhere. But I do expect a fair amount of aquatic life to be interested in me once I pass. I'm sure I'll make quite the addition to the ecosystem.

None at mine. 'cause there isn't going to be one. and the family knows it.
