Welcome new Voyager fans!

By the way, I think you're more proof that Voyager is the European corner of the TBBS. ;)
(A recent theory of mine. People, prove me wrong if you've had that feeling in another subforum (besides Doctor Who). I'm interested.)

Hello JC. By the standards of distance on this forum, you're practically round the corner from me if you're in Yorkshire.

Maybe its because we get such a lot of Voyager on Virgin here in the UK? That's how I got back into it. When I was ill and watching daytime tv a couple of years ago it was Voyager vs Last of the Summer Wine (hmmmmm ... there's difficult choice - NOT!) I then started watching it all the way through when they started from series 1 in the evenings last year. I'm buying the DVDs now when I see a good deal I've got about half of it now so when Virgin pull mean tricks like saying in January 'you'll have to wait til June to see the second half of Equinox', or the sky box breaks down, I can sort myself out!

I certainly find that while none of my friends are total geeks like me, they at least know what I'm talking about and most will have watched it at some point. My bf likes it best out of all the series too.

Do you guys who live elsewhere get Voyager on TV still?

I'm in the States (Minnesota) and don't know when or if it's broadcast. I have all the dvds though. None of my friends watch Trek which is how I ended up joining years ago.

Oh, and welcome to JC and Frazzled. Great names. :)

The past couple of years, Sci Fi France aired it completely, then the middle seasons, then from the beginning again until season 6 or something... and stopped recently. It aired Enterprise too until, the other week, season 4 was interrupted to the benefit of Heroes S2. Once all the seasons have been aired once, they use Star Trek as stopgap - especially during the summer holidays.

Hi all - great to be here! I joined this month and am a huge Voyager Fan. If you ask me at random, at least 2 days a week it is my favorite of all the series. I don't remember how I managed to wait week after week for the new episode when it originally aired - thank God for the DVDs!

Hello all! I guess I am not a NEW Voyager fan per se ... but every year when I go through all 7 seasons I gain a new appreciation for it!

just wanted to say hi.... im new to this site and im pleased that ive found a place to appreciate voyager!! i have been on many other startrek forums and most slag voyager off , i love voyager - i watched it years ago but have only really got into it again since the reruns were back on virgin last year ..anyways i dont normally post on forums but just wanted to say hello. Question - why is it that the majority of startrek fan site i have read really slate VOY?

I've been on this site for a while, but this is the first time I was really checking thins out and posting. VOY was awesome but I liked the relationship between Janeway and Chakotay. and I am a writer fro TNG, Ds9, and VOY... if no one is opposed to it i would like to post some of my stuff here for you all to enjoy.
