T:SCC season 3

Wow I totally agree with MNM, the pseudo deep talk in TSCC was just there to look deep, it didn't feel real at all

Businesswise, there's no sense making any announcement about the series until after the movie. Announcing cancellation hurts the movie, and if the movie has blockbuster domestic performance they may want to give the series another chance, maybe as a TV movie to reboot audience interest.

You're forgetting one key thing though: Fox airs the show while Warner Brothers produces it. If Terminator: Salvation does well it could hurt their big action blockbuster Wolverine. Announcing their decision to terminate Sarah Connor could be seen as a way to hurt the publics perception of Salvation and stop some people from going to see it.

Since Warner Brothers produces it, maybe it could move to CW and get retooled as more of a teen drama. Call it John's Creek. Allison and Kyle come back with John and John Henry and they all go to high school together, along with Cameron. The primary source of drama can be the Sarah/Kyle/Allison/John/Cameron/John Henry love hexagon.

It amazes me that so many people are willing to watch absolute crap as long as it has a familiar title. Fans of a show should be the first ones to cry foul when their show kamikazes into crap-ville.

Yeah, I wouldn't watch this show if it weren't Terminator brand. Maybe if it were original and they emphasized the time travel or sci-fi aspects of it, I might tune in. I don't think it's absolute crap, but I don't think it's the best thing ever either. I will be disappointed if there isn't a season three, though.

The rumor about a move to CW has been around for a while and has kicked up again.

I was afraid of this...started watching the first few episodes of the second season then came back during the last six episodes or so and thought it picked up momentum again and the finale was outstanding. They need a chance to at least resolve the cliffhanger!

I also want this show to come back, but everyone is always talking about it coming back to resolve the cliffhanger. I understand this but how would you like the series to end, it seems to me that the show is sort of going in the T3 route that judgement day is inevitable. Would you want the third season to focus on the Future War with John eventually rising to lead the resistance to victory or would you want them to focus back on our time and the struggle to stop J-day?

Would contracutal obligations stand in the way of this move? Every time a favorite show of mine gets canceled, (there have been a lot lately), the rumor always flies that it will switch networks. i have yet to see that happen and don't want to get my hopes up this time either.

The rumour of The CW move is just a joke that fanboys come up with once shows get canceled. if something is canceled then it will move to The WB and now CW. I think CW would have AD, and Dead Like Me, and about 100 other shows that were canceled.

I did my part and watched it again on Fox!

This is a good show...sure it had some slow episodes but so what? Look at some other great shows, like BSG...that had some hiccups.

I look at this show the same way I look at Smallville. If there is a show about Superman on TV...I'm gonna stick with it for better or worse. For me, Terminator is the same. Think of all the great moments on this show! Think of all the cool new characters like Weaver. Think of cool shit like getting to see the Jimmy Carter stuff in the future.

And most of all...we've got to hang in there for the best Terminator of all time - Cameron!

Sliders, Stargate, Scrubs. I am sure there are other shows that switched networks when canceled.

Since Warner Brothers Television owns Terminator and coowns CW then it is possible.

I would like them to resolve the alternate reality storyline and then get back to either preventing Judgement Day which I'm starting to think they're not going to be able to do or just show Future War against the machines and the start of the resistance.

Just wanted to put in an update:

BAG was interviewed by ComicsResource on April 14. In the interview he says that the writers are working on Season 3 scripts.

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" also switched networks during its run.
