I remember having a crush on a girl in my class when I was in Kindergarten.
An 11 year old near me might have committed suicide because he was "gay".
First off I hate sexual orientation, it's really lame. 99.9% of everyone, if they admit it or not, will have a same sex experience in their life time.
Second, and more importantly, if this becomes some kind of gay, bi, trans feeding ground of hate I will be the first to ask for this to be closed, and will be the first reporting such people.
So I was wondering when everyone here realized it's fine to like everyone?
I had a friend who knew since at least 11-12, and I was 13-14, however old I was in 8th grade.
Does having to physically push a guy off of you that is grinding his erection on your leg while you try to sleep on a friend's couch count as an encounter?
Support from Heterosexuals, perhaps?I hate that. In this very thread, and in the thread where people are asked what they think about two dudes kissing, it seems any guy who says he doesn't have a problem always has to add. "but I'm not gay." The very need to express that in any situation discussing homosexuality is indicative of something.
Well I knew that I found girls attractive in the fourth grade. I imagine it would be the for homosexuals.

In retrospect I found both guys and girls attractive in 3rd-4th grade, but didn't realize it until middle school.

So your assertion that 99+% of us will have a same sex experience is really a view based on your own bisexuality? Or is that source for the figure forthcoming?
Oh, and I told him a few years ago at a high school reunion that I'd had a crush on him back then. His response was, "That's cool." He wasn't interested, being straight, but he had no problem with it. And he didn't append, "but I'm straight, you know that?" to it like so many people did when I was coming out (that irritated me no end - I wasn't telling them because I wanted into their pants).

So have you never been checked out by a gay guy, or had a guy offer to buy you a drink, or anything remotely like that happen to you?

I'm sure he has, as have most people, but if that qualifies as a homosexual experience then that makes the statement fairly meaningless.
A dog humped my leg once, that does not mean I consider myself to have had a bestial experience![]()
How does it make the statement fairly meaningless? It's first hand experience of homosexual activity, regardless of whether the act is reciprocated or not. I highly doubt that the OP was insinuating that 99.9% of guys will, at some point, suck a dick. Or that 99.9% of women will become scissor sisters. That's just ridiculous. However, I can buy into the idea that at some point in their lives, 99.9% of people will experience some form of homosexual behaviour, even if that is only something as innocuous as being asked out by a member of the same sex.

The statement appears to be deliberately ambiguous to appear more controversial than in fact it is. Which is evidenced by the number of people who took it to mean what they did.
If in fact it is saying what you suggest, then it isn't saying much as I doubt that would come as a surprise to anyone.
^ You really don't hang around here much, huh? That is how EVERY topic ends up. This place is full of pedantic posters who make it their personal little sport to do this sort of thing.
