Thank you, Gary7. It took an awful lot of time to search for good screencaps that had the right perspective on the turbolift, so that I could integrate it into the other bridge shot.

I think the redness in Gary's face needs to be taken up just a bit to better match the skin color of the hands and of everyone else around.

Ah, definitely an improvement. I completely forgot the color balance, being preoccupied with shading. Nice job! Looks really natural.

Thanks! I've heard it said so many times that Chekov was a reflection of Davy Jones (same age, look, and hair style). Finally, I spotted an image that looked as if it might work. The right side of his neck is a little off, and I had to do a reversal on Davy for the correct lighting direction (so his part is now backward). I wish I had the skills to create reflections and shadows convincingly, so any image could be reoriented for different lighting.

The trouble is that Scotty's hair color changes... It's dark chestnut during TOS and then becomes almost black with gray highlights in TMP. There's not many good photos of him with a mustache before it went gray. And early TOS shots show him with a peculiar haircut... combined with a stache, he looks a little Hitler-like.

I was thinking of using the rubber stamp to graft hair from his head onto the mustache, but didn't want to spend that much time on it. I tried some hue manipulation and it didn't come out very well either. It might also be better to snag a shot of him from season 3, where he has a more mature look... something that might be more convincing for sporting a mustache.

Boy, that looks bad. Not the photoshop but the mustache. Maybe more of a Walt Disney type mustache might work, something thinner and not so broad with a little grey in it.
