Mr T is desperate for cash/sunk to a new low

He's already out of jail.

Sure, but after seeing his mugshot plastered everywhere, I doubt he's going to be the pitchman for much longer.

Enter Mr. T:

"Get your tongue bit by a hooker? Look how much blood ShamWow absorbs, fool!"

There's not a hooker alive who could beat up Mr T.

I think he actually looks pretty good for 56.

Ran into him and his lady once in a downtown Chicago parking garage. I told my friend I saw a license plate that said "MR T" but he didn't believe me until we saw him (he was in a track suit...this was around '88 or so).

25 years ago, a crack actor become really famous by starring in a popular 80's TV series. His career eventually disappeared into the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted a paycheck, he survives by making shitty infomercials . If you have a product, a grill not even George Forman an sell, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire ... Mr. T.

I miss the days when Mr T only put his name to genuinely quality products. Like the Mr T comic books.

SUnk lower than shooting Snickers at a guy power walking down the street?

 Blasphemy! That commercial was hilarious!

No.

No it wasn't.

Yes.

Yes it was. :D

Now that's funny.

Mr. T is a legend, and a really great guy. He's not the greatest actor, but he has a wonderful charisma and personality, and spent a lot of his time trying to help children and other similar social projects. a class act.

as for the snickers commercial, I thought it was great, and didn't make the gay-bashing connection until it was pointed out to me. I did not for an instant consider that the guy in the commercial was gay.

the infomercial is a shame. Mr. T deserves better. It's nice that he's still working though, and he has a good fan base.

Mr. T's actually one of those guys that the lamer the gig, the cooler it is. Shatner falls into the same category. When they do good stuff it's good. When they do bad stuff it's awesome!

The thing I want to know is this -

Where do they find people who want to be in the audience of an info commercial? I mean, I have plenty of free time on hands but even I wouldn't waste my time like that.
