How large is your music library?

7255 songs, 17.7 days, 34.15 gb.
Of course, I haven't run iTunes in a loooong time, so it might be behind.

I don't think I've actually listened to a physical CD in years, even now when I buy one I just rip it in Mediamonkey and listen on my computer.

800 songs (3.34 GB). Have some other CDs that I haven't downloaded onto Itunes, so I'm not counting those.

I don't even really think of myself as a music person, yet somehow I've accumulated nearly 3GB of music. WTF? :vulcan:

Oh well, it's 90% cheesy 80s pop/rock I'm sure. :)

Well I just listened to Human League's Tell Me When, and it's just changed to Night Ranger's Secret of My Success, so I'm running pretty much on form tonight.

67,3 GB big music folder, some lossless stuff in there though but just a few albums.

In my Winamp playlist where I have MOST of what I have (I'm pretty sure there's about five or ten albums I haven't sorted in yet) I have 10 548 songs. The total length of the playlist is (if I'm reading it correctly) 561 hours, 55 minutes, and 30 seconds. Or little under 24 ½ days. It cover pretty much every kind of music. Yes I even have some rap/hip-hop, though not much.

I can haz win Internet?

^ my collection of nearly 5000 songs (mp3) on over 300 albums seems paltry in comparison...

I go through my music every two years, using the `play count`feature in iTunes, and make sure I like all my music.

I usually get rid of about 10% of it.

So right now I`ve got 587 songs, with another 38 that I`m going to add in the next few days once I listened to them once more and made sure I like them.

 What? I'd never delete any of my songs, even if I don't listen to them at the moment. I have often realized that I tend to like different music in different stages of my life. A song I couldn't listen to anymore a year ago could very well be my favorite today.

^Well I have been collecting for ten plus years now.

My earliest audio file I have is dated 3/28/1988

Though I didn't seriously start collecting until around 1994, and for that the earliest I have dated is 2/9/1994

I'll delete songs I'm embarrassed I owned, but that's about it (and I don't even delete all that, I have frickin' Smash Mouth songs on my computer after all). I figure if, for some reason, I don't play a song, I can always leave it there in case someone else wants to listen to it.
