What if Glen A. Larson had executive produced ENTERPRISE?

Aquehonga

Fleet Captain
How much different would it have been?

Be: worse? better? no different? not sure?

Larson made BSG's TOS & Buck Rogers.

As long as they kept Herman Zimmerman because Larson was not as creative in the look and feel of his series when it came to models and details of interior designs.

Not sure about that, even as an old school BSG fan. Started off great, but then progressively getting more and more, Saturday morning fair. Star Trek would've strayed into childish plotting as most of Larson's creations did.

Donald Bellisario on the other hand... Archer might've seemed less dour and fan loving, while keeping every episode's adult issues in place. His NCIS is pretty decent. I can't comment on JAG.

The uniforms would have included capes and moon boots and Trip would have been a robot "be de be de be.... Hey T'Pol"

If you're referring to Twiki, I thought he was always calling out to a girl :
"Debbie..Debbie...Debbie..Debbie..Debbie..Debbie..Debbie..Debbie..Debbie"

Ron Moore, Stephen King, Peter jackson and guy dircted dune mini :) alon with whedon as dialogue wriiter.

Donald Bellisario on the other hand...

Now THAT might have been interesting.

As far as Larson? No thanks. I liked BSG when I was in Junior High during its original run, but to be perfectly honest it just doesn't stand the test of time. At least not the way Trek has. I think that might be a big reason that Moore's BSG has done so well. The root story and characters are great, but the original incarnation was lacking. Moore figured out what needed to be fixed, and he was right.

Why even think to ask... is that leading somewhere? I understand about the oldBSG credit but that is only because Larson was a trendy producer not really having a genre focus. A very teen focused, gadget attention grabbing, and very episodic without story arcs no future after the hour type show producer. His stories and characters are standing right where you last left them. That was ok back then because TV was evolving, we wanted to get to the point, and move on.

Larson on Enterprise, assuming he took over because the ST series would not have lasted long enough with him in the beginning, would mean having an Andromeda descent type character or an android so humans can interact more with the technology. Every show would end on a punch line. Trip would be more of a comedic character. T'Pol would less vulcan and more centerfold and fashionable. The ship plain ol' boring.

Following the destruction of Earth in the first episode, the last Starfleet ship, Enterprise, would lead a rag tag fugitive fleet while fleeing from the Xindi tyranny.

BATTLESTAR ENTERPRISE

Folks'd be callin'it BSE f'short:)

Count Bakula's "Adama", so "Baltar" would be played by Marc Alaimo.

Fitting.

If the guy behind 'Buck Rogers' had been in charge of ENT, then the female lead would have worn an absurdly tight outfit for no good reason than to get the blokes watching.
Errr, hang on a minute...
