This will probably be the first odd-numbered Trek film that will be a success and therefore break the odd/even numbered Trek rule of thumb!
It doesn't have a number. And ST:TMP was one of the biggest successes (over time) of the old film series.

However, I fell for it, too, when I hoped that Star Trek X would be better than that Insurrection stinker...
I meant a fan-based success rather then money-making. As I recall, a lot of the odd-numbered films weren't a fan-favorite. I'm not saying all fans disliked the odd-numbered films, but it is an urban legend that odd-numbered films are disliked by many people.
