For those who don't know, there is a legal site called Hulu.com which shows movies and TV series for free. But because it's legal, it has to observe certain laws in regards to who can view from which country, so some countries can't watch it. Anyway, they have the first season up now:

As I don't have the money to buy or rent the DVDs, and I don't actually own a TV myself, nor do I want to do it illegally, I am excited by this news.

 news Tharpdevenport:beer:

Luckily for me & other aficionados, QL reruns air daily at 5: pm on ION, a cable/satellite network.

Next weekend's the QL Happy 20th Con. All info at: http://www.leapback2009.com

Wish I could go:o

Apparently, Dean St:vulcan:ckwell will be there, but in the form of a hologram that only Scott Bakula can see & hear (as well as pussy cats, kids under 5, & dogs).

Sans Count Bakula, that sux dead bunnies through a broken & busted straw, for all the attendees of the Con:mad:

Here is a new podcast with Deborah Pratt which was recorded just tonight. http://recordings.talkshoe.com/TC-33219/TS-202287.mp3

A lot of new info that even I did not know. Sounds like she had a bigger role in the creation of the series than most know. Helping shape Don Bellisario's ideas.

Dean's absence from the Con is a bit of mystery. He had long been confirmed as attending until a few weeks ago. He has only sighted "personal reasons". With the only clarification being that his health is not the issue. I suggested to the con's planners that he could appear over a conference call. We will have to wait and see.

I love this show. I am flying all the way from Wisconsin for the Con. Not too many others things I would do that for.

Have tons'o'fun there Donald:beer:

Still shame'bout Dean St:vulcan:ckwell though:(

Of interesting note, vertern television composer, Mike Post, who did scores to shows like "CHiPs" (season 1); Magnum, pi; The Rockford Files, and some of TV's most popular themes ever (Magnum, pi; Hill Street Blues; The Rockford files, so on) scored the pilot (and I think all of season 1 before his protege Velton Ray Bunch took over).

I finally got a chance to watch the pilot today. Very charming. :) I'm glad it's on Hulu, and I look forward to seeing more episodes. :D

THe con was great!

 Mr. D :techman:

You've met Captain Jonathan Samuel Beckett Archer M.D.

Did Count Bakula confirm that Dean St:vulcan:ckwell was there, but in the form of a hologram only Scotty B. could see & hear (as well as pussycats, kids<5, & dogs)?

That must've been 1 hell of a  Con:beer:

Nice pic, Donald Draper! You met Captain Archer! ;)

Well, Hulu isn't available in my corner of the world. What a pity, I remember seeing some episodes of it when I was a kid and I would have liked to watch it again (or, for the first time, in most cases).
