I got a $500 (CAD) bonus on my pay (retro pay from last raise) and went and had one hell of a shopping spree!

  • had hair cut (4 inches!) and styled; bought shine product
  • bought new pink polo at Old Navy and white cable cardigan at Reitman's
  • bought three new books by Margaret George (Helen of Troy, Mary Called Magdalene and The Memoirs of Cleopatra)
  • pretty bras and undies from La Senza
  • groceries, all organic and including Ester-C chewables
  • a Flip Ultra video camera (I love it! It's so easy to use!)
  • Many Lego sets, new skater shoes for son
  • groceries, for son who is grudgingly eating some organic
What a day! I'm beat

Picked out any designated targets yet? :shifty:

Only a neighborhood Pomeranian that keeps crapping on my front lawn (I miss living in a highrise apartment building), although I fear that the resultant mess would be substantially more difficult to hose away than dog faeces. But seriously, I have long lived by the dictum that it is infinitely better to have and not need than it is to need and not have, especially when it comes to firearms.

TGT

Not the pom! If anything go for the owner that doesn't pick up after the dog.

Today I bought a lavendar chocolate bar to replenish my strength after working out. :D

Out again today, primarily for groceries, but:

  • Burt's Bees lip balm, lip gloss and milk and honey body lotion (on sale!)
  • Twilight dvd (also on sale!)
  • More antihistimines, for myself and son (yay Spring!)

^ I'm so glad I don't have hayfever. I'd hate not to be able to enjoy Spring.

I've had quite an expensive week, eating and drinking out quite a lot on several days. Quiet-ish weekend coming up now though, so it should all balance out in a zen-like fashion. :)

We spent the whole day yesterday looking at laminate flooring to redo the entire downstairs, but couldn't make up our minds to go through all that hassle, not to mention the expense.

We ended up picking up sandwiches at Earl of Sandwich (yum!) and calling it a day.

I'm having my living room redone in hickory this week. I can't wait to get rid of the carpet in there! :)

I have a quiet weekend coming up myself which I'm pretty excited about actually.

Twilight 3 DVD set and some Krispy Kreme donuts sold as a fundraiser for Children's Hospital. Any time they need me to eat donuts for the children, I'm in!

^Ahhh, I was thinking along similar lines. A Cadbury cream egg. A rare indulgence for me.

Ah, an April delicacy.

I myself just bought a hundred dollars in cables to connect my Entertainment center in my room and $40 bucks on a new glass with stainless steel strainer and plunger tea pot. Now I can make my tea 1 liter at a time from loose leaf. :bolian:

Stopped by the organic section of the grocery store and bought another of my favourite chocolate:

Dinner and a movie with a friend and her cousin from overseas.

I also changed my mind about the Levi's I had bought and exchanged those for an entirely different pair.
