you know I agree, and more to the point, I try to find clips that aren't reused. granted I don't always succeed. Sometimes I deliberately blur the line (I might have Picard ready with his "engage" gesture) but I think that people should at least try to steer away from stock footage.

It may look like stock footage, but there are actually very few shots of the ship head-on. Most are from below, port, starboard and a handful from above or at a distance.

 

I beileve that's a shot of the ship as it moves into high orbit above a moon. I can't BELIEVE i got that right!
