Commander Tomalak !!! All the way!

I actually would prefer the alien planets than the Federation business, I find the alien worlds more interesting

I'm not much of a Trek fan, I don't recall episodes etc but the concept of Gene's Trek always has a place in my heart
It started since the first time I watched TNG tv I grew up on syndicated TNG. Sisko was badass, Stewart was perhaps the best actor Trek ever had, I mean ever!
Kirk has a place in my heart for his drinking, womanizing, fighting etc Enterprise as a series I would really like to get into but the show had too many issues

Kathryn Janeway gets my vote because the concept was a seriously great, a top female icon. I'm not sure if it worked as good as it could have, they could have made her a bit more genuine, a bit more rough around the edges but I loved seeing an onscreen lead female role that acted not like Paris Hilton but like a real female leader.

    Janeway gets my vote

Otherwise I vote for the Rommies all the way

    Picard.

Kirk is fun to watch and I really like Sisko and the story about him, but Picard is the top of the list. Smart, sophisticated, upright, reserved but confident. He is the one that see the big picture but cares about the details. Gets the ladies but never talk about it.

Janeway is too inconsistent for me, and Archer just acts like a whiny teenager.

I also cast my vote for The Sisko.
But I must give honorable mention to The Kirken.

Is it really possible that Kathryn "F*ck the Prime Directive / lets make a pact with the Borg / F*ck the Timeline" Janeway is more popular than Tiberius, JLP and The Sisko? WTF?

it's because of all the militant Janeway fans who joined up to bitch that she got killed off in a TNG novel in the Lit forum. they're like roaches.

it always used to be Sisko, Kirk, Picard.

Oh you poor things. It must be hard for you now that you don't have the board all to yourself and can no longer ignore the fact that Janeway does indeed have a fanbase and are quite popular.

I voted for Picard. I am a little surprised to see that Janeway is winning. I like her but I never knew she was so popular.

Pike as conceived probably would have been the best. There were a lot of good ideas there that migrated over to Kirk but ended up getting ignored.

I voted for Janeway because I felt she had the most difficult situation. Everyone else had back up. They each had their own adventures and scenarios, but she was on her own. Not only did she have to bring together disparate forces to make one crew, she also had to deal with bad writing, poor character development, and a potential lifetime of eating leola root. It's enough to break even the strongest man. Go, you good thing!

*hiss* along with me, fellow roaches, as we take over the world...
