Poster question

Flying Spaghetti Monster

Vice Admiral
Admiral
Have all the posters been released. All the posters have been headshots or arrowhead symbols, but I was hoping that the film would get a final kick ass poster. Something that might be rather traditional, with faces of the cast superimposed over some cool film image, like the big E in battle

I've never been a fan of posters just showing profile shots of the characters.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the lifeless stare of your favorite characters!"

Heck, the teaser poster to Star Trek 5 with the theater chair got me more excited about that movie then any of these Trek posters have.

Did this for fun. :techman:

^Nice work!!

For some reason I think it is going to emulate the ST:TMP posters --

There will definitely be a proper poster, should be any day now I imagine.

The best star trek posters in my opinion, Star Trek:6, 5, FC, 3

I've got one of the top one (safely rolled in an air-tight tube) and two of the bottom one (one rolled and one framed).

Even have a smaller version of the bottom one in a scrap book.

They are Originals I got from a local theater back then.

The top one is one of my most cherished Trek collectables.

Very fond memories of the time leading up to TMP and Opening Night. :vulcan:

Ive got a couple from the E of Bay, but ive searched and nothing has been leaked on the site yet with regards to official release posters.

I do like the arrow head posters, theyre retro and simple yet effective.

Of all places, it will turn up there first. Probably even before the poster is in theatres.

What's sad is that our local 14-theater multiplex has posters for movies coming out much later than Trek, but no damned poster yet.

Is that a Paramount marketing strategy? :(
