Yup, that's what mine is useful for - I like subtle geekiness like that, the only people who will get it will also think it's cool.
Same with '24' ringtones back in the day.

The only clothes I have which have anything written on them at all are Queen T-shirts. And I don't wear them because I don't like clothes with logos, emblems, witty remarks or otherwise.

I am a massive Queen merchandising nerd though, it's the only thing I am that way about, I have everything from clothing to mugs to Roger Taylor drumsticks and silver sixpences minted with Brian May's head on them

I don't have any merchandise clothing no. The closest thing might have been some lion king slippers I had in the mid 1990s, which didn't last very long, and were very disappointing. I don't really care for gimmicky things, and as I've never really adopted the chuck-away mentality, I prefer to make infrequent purchases of higher quality things that I think will last me a long time.

I forgot to mention, I also have a shirt with Strong Bad on it, but I stopped wearing that one.

My parents once bought me a sweatshirt with a gigantic French Horn on the front and my name running down the sleeve in block letters. I only wore it around the house because it was too embarrassing to be seen elsewhere. The house was cold enough in the winter that it got plenty of use. That's not so much scifi nerd though, more music nerd AND I wasn't the one who bought it.
