    Liked the episode.

It was cool seeing Matt and Peter team up to get the information. Nice use of telepathy from them. We had the much needed scene of Noah talking about Matt's weaknesses. Glad they aren't going to wait until the last episode of the season to deal with the suicide bomber thing and at least it's somewhat plausible how the plot got there. The Hunter is really crazy setting that up.

Sylar's story is going along. Really happy Sylar ditched Luke.

Not a fan of the romance scenes between Claire and Alex but it was still leagues better then West stalking Claire. At least Claire was the one doing the saving instead of being the one that needed to be rescued this time. The romance was brief thankfully.

Not a bad story but I fast forwarded through Claire's part.

I have to wonder about the security of the building...then again. It is our government.

No. His first episode is #20, this was #18.

Yeah, I had forgotten about the puppeteer showing up when I posted my rating. It was a nice surprise and hopefully they do it justice next episode.

I must admit, I'm one of the few defenders of S2-3, but this "Fugitives" arc isn't really catching my attention. Government thugs with guns just aren't as interesting as super-powered villains. Also, the Sylar storyline is almost as ridiculous as the S2 one. Just kill him already. Shoulda died in the S1 Finale!

^I've been saying that since Season 2. Sylar's arc was done at the end of S1. This whole "redemption" bulls**t is only because Quinto's so popular, I'd bet money on it.

While I liked the episode in general, just the line about Mrs. Bennet being a Def Leppard fan shoved it into the Above Average category for me. That one line caused way too many college flashbacks.

There was really nothing interesting in last night's episode. I just don't care about the characters or what happens anymore. I have watched from the very beginning, too bad the show lost its direction and is only continuing on its original momentum.

Wasn't the PuppetMan killed in the great escape from the Company's holding area? I seem to really recall him getting killed by Sylar in all the chaos of the escape.

Is it just me or did the woman sitting in the background in Sylar's flashback to the diner look like Candace ?

Her being a Def Leppard fan and the 80s flashback being in Black & white made me feel old.

Also, if you are looking for a guy who can breath under water, wouldn't the pool be the first place you look?

The Peter only having one power at a time thing is working for me right now, but eventually he will need to get his original power back so he can have a big show down with Sylar. I imagine he will get get his power back when he touches Sylar and copies his power. Of course it would have been cool if Peters power really did switch powers with people. So if he had mind control and touched nathan then Peter would gain flight, but Nathan would get mind control, then if Peter touched Claire he would gain healing and she would get flight, etc... That would make for a fun few episodes until it all got sorted out.

This episode gets an Average, subtract the Peter/Hiro Nerf Modifier and you get a Below Average. Arthur Petrelli was the worst thing that ever happened to this show. We've got a big government operation going on to capture people who can't bloody do anything!

Exactly what danger is a guy who can breathe under water supposed to be ? Or a girl who can heal from any injury ? Okay, Parkman might be a problem but he's the guy you hire, not kill.

This copying powers business is getting old fast as well. Nathan fell for the same trick twice now. Just give Peter his old power back, at least it was interesting seeing which one he'd use in each situation.

They're not going to do that. Arthur Petrelli was introduced because the writers wrote themselves in to a hole and weren't talented or creative enough to get themselves out of it. They had someone who can travel through time and space and someone else who has the combined superpowers of many others and they can't write an interesting story about them ? They should quit the writing business and go sell shoes or something.

Oh, and Claire without her powers would be interesting right up until the point where she got a papercut and died from the infection - they've already explained that her body has absolutely no immune system beyond her powers because she's never been sick.

These are the same people that ran season two and said the Hiro-in-Japan storyline went on too long, right? Well Sylar on his very long road trip is going nowhere fast now.

The writing on this show is too obvious. They are purposefully keeping Sylar out of play. They need a reason why he would march up to Building 26 and bring the entire place down.

They've done this before. They gave him the virus to keep him out of the way during season two. They gave Hiro a "crisis of confidence" to keep him out of the way during season one. They took Peter's memories in season two to keep him out of the way.

This is because they lack the imagination to write stories that use the powers they have given their characters. They put a limit on Hiro's powers when he tried to save Charlie and failed. They put a limit on Peter's powers by saying he'd go nuclear if he tried to use too many at once. They had those pre-existing ways of saying why Hiro and Peter couldn't just resolve everything themselves but instead they panicked and in came Arthur Petrelli.

The good news is that they have Ando. Two seconds of face time with him and that problem is solved but they just won't do it because they are too dumb to see that this a major problem with their writing.

Doyle was never shown to be killed by Sylar on screen. When they had their face off it looked like Sylar did something unseen and Doyle collapsed onto the ground.

It's not going to be going on for much longer.

Sylar will be meeting his daddy next week.

I'll give this an above average for the puppeteer twist and canine sandwich scenes.

Did the two agents hunting aquaman know what his power was? Maybe a cursory glance at the pool was all they thought they needed because Claire was tagging along with him and couldn't breathe underwater.

Fuller's impact will be felt starting with episode 20 then? And there are 24 episodes, I think, so it'll be interesting to see how the show changes.

Part of me wants another year, the other wants Fuller to create a new Trek series. Although Pushing up Daisies didn't fare too well, did it...

I disagree, Sylar's season 2 arc, particularly when he began to mentor Maya, and his season 1 motivations show that he could be a great Magneto-like villain, someone who does the wrong thing for the right reasons. He kills people who he feels are wasting their powers, so it is only right that he put his powers to practical use changing the world, and recruit others to his cause.

They had something going with the potential Sylar-Peter conflict, the cynic vs. the idealist, both trying to change the world, with the company and the government in the middle, trying to maintain the status quo.

So just one more Fuller-less episode left. I don't really see him having a huge impact on the show, though. I just went through the old credits and he only wrote TWO episodes in S1 and that's it! It was "Collision" and "Company Man". Or is it just his general guiding light we're hoping for? Interesting that he's only written 2 DS9 episodes and then a bunch of VOY stuff and nothing from TNG.

I think this show has gone as far as it can now, not watched any of this new chapter and have no intention of doing either.
