There might have been days and moments (like Valentine's day) when things seemed better and sometimes we might have lied to ourselves but we both knew deep down that there was a distance in us that was just too distant.

I didn't say a month, I said nearly two weeks. We didn't have sex on Valetine's day. I was so exhausted after everything I'd done for her that day that we never got to the sex.
