The Janeway character only used her sexuality twice in 7 years, Counterpoint and that one where she pretends to be a prostitute to break into prison. That fact held in hand, I don't see why there would be any problem with any actress given the role being haggard and craggy like a 70 year old pop icon.

There was an episode of Nip Tuck a couple years back were she addressed how her voice was getting too deep for her work as a "phone sex artist" and she required surgery to make her sound younger and less manly. Her catch phrase was "Cindi Plumb will make you cum".

I’m too accustomed to Mulgrew as Janeway so I wouldn’t want that to change.
What would work for me is Weaver as a captain of her own ship on a couple of Voyager episodes.

Just seen the clip of Bujold on youtube the person who posted the clip put the specal effects in and cleaned up the sound but made no difference can't beleive they got it so wrong if she had stayed i think it would have been canned by the end of the season.
