I've been lagging in my reading and more recently in my purchases. Is there a comprehensive list of all Trek fiction released by Pocketbooks in 2008 and 2009 somewhere? ( Excluding reprints of previous fiction with the exception of SCE and COE mmpbs) Can't find any such list here, at psiphi nor at the S&S website.
And the PsiPhi one is still there from July 2008 on. http://www.psiphi.org/cgi/upc-db/upcoming.html And I thought there was more somewhere there, tbh.
There's also the 2008 and 2009 pages at my site, and the new forthcoming books pages at my site, the streamlined basic version and the interactive version. Not just Pocket books, though.
Aww man! How could I forget Steve and his website! Thanks for the links. Looks fantabulous! I also love the comic cover images A great way to get my comic collection in order too!
Please forgive me for asking this here -- a little off topic -- but I have dyslexia, and I can't go reading through the FAQ, etc. to find out. Is there a time line of Trek books? (I mean time line in the Trek universe, not production order.) I have a few stacks of novels lying around, and I'd like to read them in order, if it's not too hard to ascertain. Thanks.
Yes, but I really don't find it that helpful. Just stay in order within the various series and make sure that whenever you hit crossovers you're at the right spot in both series, and you should be fine.
^ ^ Could you please direct me to it? I'd appreciate it. P.S. If you're wondering how I read books with dyslexia: I cut them apart, scan them, use text-to-speech software and listen to them on iPod.
^ You might want to check out Bookshare.org. If you qualify for their program, it might save you a lot of work.
Have you considered Ebooks instead? Couldn't you put that text through a reader? I'd imagine it'd be less work...
I know there was an issue a few years ago with Trek ebooks not having that option enabled in certain formats. I don't know why that would be the case, and it may have been a simple case of default setting. I haven't purchased an ebook recently. For those who have/do, is this feature available?
Thanks, guys; I do a variety of things to read. I've been on the federal talking book program for a couple decades; I have a husband who is a software developer and can write programs I can't buy; I digitize stuff from other formats, etc. I just brought this up to explain up there ^^ why someone with dyslexia would be looking for a book list. Not meaning to start anything, sorry.
