A lady who knows how to leave her mark on men

Wow, you really know you've had too much to drink when you don't wake up to someone carving on you with a knife. :wtf:

This is being discussed on my other board. One of the men said:

Hey, scars heal and stitches look tough.
A shag's a shag.

:D

Some of the Sun's comments are pretty amusing too:

"Well i've seen worse tattoo's [sic], at least she spelt it right."

"I would still give her one, take my chances..."

"Think yourself lucky bud. It's only because she fell asleep halfway through that you don't have "Woz Here" on the end of Dominique"

Wow. And all these are totally ignoring the fact that being assaulted is going to be a traumatic thing, and mocking him just because it was a female-on-male attack.

I guarantee, if a man did this to a woman, there'd be outrage. But because the genders are reversed here, he's subjected to all sorts of mockery. There is something VERY wrong with that picture.

I do agree, but with comments like this
"I would still give her one, take my chances..."
It's tempting to say they get what's coming to them

Apparently the local news included the information that they'd been mixing large quantities of alcohol with valium. That would account for the lack of feeling, depth of unconsciousness and memory loss. It may also have meant that they didn't actually have sex (diazepam ain't good for the bat'leth) so there wasn't much to remember.

Of course, valium is a close cousin to rohypnol which makes one wonder which of the couple was supplied with the drug.

The dude was stupid to leave himself vulnerable to a complete stranger like that, but stupidity doesn't deserve that sort of assault. I would imagine her sentencing is pending a thorough in depth psychiatric assessment. Why would anyone want to play etch-a-sketch with a stanley knife on a human being?

You know how when someone says "she was wearing a short skirt so she deserved it" about a woman who has been raped ? That's how the above sounds to me.

You are casting suspicion upon this man when he is the victim.

Valium is a prescription only drug. Either party could have supplied copious quantities of alcohol but presumably only one of them brought the pills. If someone I met yesterday invited me to take a fistful of valium, I think I'd be pretty stupid to take it. Either Dominique has a much higher tolerance to the stuff, or she took less, or she supplied it and duped him.

I don't blame the bloke for the monstrosity perpetuated on him. But I do think he was an idiot to leave himself that vulnerable with a total stranger - one who apparently had the nous to stay conscious (at least conscious enough to hold a knife).

As for the issue of the 'short skirt' there's a slight difference - short skirts are both legal and culturally acceptable. Handfuls of prescription only drugs are not. Having said that, I'd be among those in a rape situation expecting both parties to take resposibility for their own behaviour. A short skirt is not reason to rape someone: being totally drunk and incapable, making sexual advances and then crying rape afterwards might be a better comparison.

Edit to add: wtf would people use valium to enhance sex? Unless you wanted your partner to be unconscious?

^Your post seemed to be inferring that the valium was his and he'd attempted to use it as a date rape drug.

That might have been a possibility: as the usual effect of valium is to render the consumer passive and unresponsive, it'd be a particularly dim woman who thought it would enhance a sexual event. Unless your intention was to carve your partner up like a sunday roast.

Dominique does seem the more likely candidate to have access to psychiatric meds. ;)

I think all I was trying to imply was that this situation is considerably more complex than the thread suggests - there was more going on here than we can know, and the Sun isn't famous for in depth reporting.

I think Wayne needs to take responsibility for his own stupidity - thank God he has lived to learn the lesson. He could so easily have ended on a mortuary slab. Dominique will probably spend a large chunk of time in one of our nicely walled and fenced hospitals. (I also think women need to take responsibility for their actions on a night out that turns sour.)

What baffles me is the Sun comments from people who would still take the same stupid risk with a known bunny-boiler just for a free shag! Have they no hands?
