^I read your second sentence to the tune of "Hey Jude," did I do right?
Nice work. Did you use Photoshop or some such program to get the glowing star effect?
Maybe I should just start calling it based upon how much paint I get all over myself.
This would be "Bloody hell there's even some blue in my hair number 5"
Maybe that's how I should start titling my recipes! You have some really impressive pieces in there!http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=9301&l=b13cb&id=673109014
Here is a gallery of some of my paintings. I have not put anything up for over a year however, so I need to add some more of my recent work.
They are the best, aren't they! I've actually never airbrushed anything in my life, but I would LOVE to try it! I've never gone to art school or taken art classes, and while for the most part I don't mind that fact, I do think that I would have more opportunity to explore different media were I to take a class...or maybe an MFA! (I can dream.)And TheStrangeQuark, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Copic markers. They are expensive as hell, but they are worth it. Have you used the airbrush attachment for it? I love it.
It makes me think of the Flume, so how about "The Flume?"I just finished a three day project, but I have no idea what to call it. Any suggestions:

I have a couple of pictures with those exact names. You are prolific, blab! I've personally never been good with titles. I haven't titled anything since I was about 14 -- back when I thought pretentious titles like "Reflections on Earth in Grey and White," or "Frustration: A Portrait" were deep.

Thought so. Well done.Sorry, yes the original work was mostly marker, but I did re-image it in Photoshop.

Very cute. Reminds me vaguely of Virgil Finlay somehow. This is a silly sketch I did in college -- during some lecture class or other.

Definitely. Some people probably haven't seen it.I could also post again my Star Trek Comic, if people are interested.
Nice. You have a gift for faces-- something I'll never have. Here is a gallery of some of my paintings. I have not put anything up for over a year however, so I need to add some more of my recent work.

Now that I have a scanner again, I'm going to try to get around to posting some of them in the Trek Art forum.Definitely. Some people probably haven't seen it.I could also post again my Star Trek Comic, if people are interested.

My music teacher said I had a rare gift for music, saying that I intuitively understood the subject, and could identify notes.

Music class was my favourite subject at school. I never learned to play any musical instruments (besides the classroom favourite, the recorder) but I found it such a cheerful subject... teacher would play the piano and we'd have to listen out for the chord changes. Or we'd be given a chord sequence and had to fit a melody to it. All fun thingsMy music teacher said I had a rare gift for music, saying that I intuitively understood the subject, and could identify notes.

Oil on canvas...
Ok I admit already it was a kit, but hell mixing the oils was hard enough, let alone realising you'd painted over the clues...
And NO it's not painting by numbers
I really admire anyone who can or who wants to paint, I think it's a true expression of the soul. I just needed a little guidance to start with!
