New Enterprise Toy Revealed

This was posted in the Trek Art forum by PixelMagic, but I didn't see it here yet.

I'm hoping the bulkiness is simply due to this being a Playmates toy (they've always been rather chunky). I still don't like how radical the design is but this looks better than that first reveal we got back in November.

Looks fantastic.

Absolutely! I will be buying this, even though I am not a fan of Playmates. Oh, please, oh please let Art Asylum take a crack at the NCC-1701!

Such as the Innerspace Defiant

On the bright side, at least it got made. After ENTERPRISE first hit and after the initial action figures and bridge playset came out, the show's merchandising all but tanked save for online collectibles and shit at conventions. Art Asylum just gave up on the show and never came out with Soval, Shran, Xindi, et. al. figures...even if they would have sold poorly, they'd have been good collectibles.

Actually they DID make a Shran figure, it was part of Wave 2 the Away Team series I should know I have him MINT in MINT card:D

Really?

I never saw him! I always thought the exclusive Phlox/John Billingsley that you could get autographed by the actor was the final figure!:)
