I remember when Christian changed the locks when Saleel, and the messy divorce that followed.

Saleel. I remember that name. and vaguely something about a divorce. Must about just before I signed on the first time - was that in '99 or early '01?

Mid '99, I believe. Christian and Saleel were the two forces behind TrekZone. There was a behind-the-scene scuffle and Christian locked Saleel out of TrekBBS and TrekToday and made TrekNation. Saleel kept TrekSeek (his kid from another marriage) and went off to do his own thing.

That's another thing I remember, when Trek was a large enough presence on the internet there were dedicated search engines. There were two big ones, TrekSeek and TrekSearch.
