Then it will never get released! I have buried my copies in 10 feet of cement inside a sealed plastic case! Muhahahahaha! Before they can release it, they have to complete their project of locating and destroying every TOS recording of any kind anywhere in the world.

That bridge looks absolutely great when it's not lit up like an operating theatre.
I guess we've yet to see how the bridge will look throughout much of the movie - there are a few scenes in ST:TMP, for example, where the bridge set is very brightly lit but most often it's more subdued.
Here's one of Zoe with her eyes open. I've narrowed it slightly so she doesn't look so squashed.I got some screencaps from the "new" stuff, where we see some of the bridge in the background

"Big"... "action"... "spectacle"... hmmm, makes me wonder...
I also heard "wonderful characters"... "heart"... "emotion"... makes one wonder even more
I haven't heard the phrase "Best Trek villain since Khan" which, after Ru'fao and Shinzon, is my warning bell for disaster.
I'm not giving them my address. Before they can release it, they have to complete their project of locating and destroying every TOS recording of any kind anywhere in the world.

Well, I hope the t.v. version will be more intimate.
I'm sure they will reshoot this film so it can be more "intimate" when it gets shown on TV.

Of course they have to say that...
Before they can release it, they have to complete their project of locating and destroying every TOS recording of any kind anywhere in the world.
When you get home from the movie, all your TOS eps will be gone and you'll be happier for it. The time travelling grinch will make sure they were never made. HA HA HA HA HA!

Most people can't say or spell it... never mind find it.
My Trek stuff is probably very safe...![]()
Add, "Awesome!"The bridge does look a lot better with those damn make-up lights turned off.

Oh man, so very true. There are several phrases (when applied to Trek) that we fans have developed an Pavlovian aversion to.
"Best villain since Khan"
"We are all very pleased"
"Valantine to the fans"
"Star Wars"
"cool"
"action packed"
"Willaim Shatner"
"Battlestar Galactica"

I hear much of the budget has gone to hiring Santa to help with the old Trek stuff disposal.
So if Santa can find you on Christmas, Abrams will get to your house eventually.
