Where's John Hurt when you need him.But I'm starting to get a little fed up with not knowing what happens next.
The alien's due to emerge in about a week or so.
Yeah, I think that's why I'm fed up, thinking "They'll probably just say see how it goes, again." I just kinda want someone to recommend what to do, rather than leaving the choice to me.(seriously, ask the doc's when you go in, but you may just get a "play it by ear" type answer.)
So far I've watched Quantum Leap seasons 2 & 3, Enterprise season 1 (first time since it aired, and I thought it was better than the first time), Battlestar Galactica season 4.0, Skins series 1, Dara O'Briain Talks Funny, Russell Howard Live, and Futurama Bender's Game. I've also played through Gears of War 2, Mirror's Edge, half of Prince of Persia, and half of Bourne Conspiracy, and read book 5 of Codex Alera, 3 Nightside books and started a forth. Thanks for keeping us updated on your progress, Bob. Kick back with some John Wayne movies. That should take your mind off things.![]()
Yeah, I've been staying at my parents since the operation. Luckily we live on the same street. My mam's been taking good care of me, and my dad has been worrying about everything, "Shouldn't you have those stockings on?" "Aren't you supposed to be resting?" "Shouldn't you go to hospital rather than wait for the nurse?"Sounds like you're doing a good job.Do you have family around to help?
Yeah, sexy white stockings, that make you look like you've never worn a pair of shorts and are in desperate need of a tan.Are those stockings the fetching ones to stop you getting thrombosis and keep the blood circulating? I had those, too, once. Best not show the girls the stockings. Glad there are folks around to worry about you.
Well, no... it's still fairly big, but it's less than half of what it was, they're fitting 1 piece of packing(or less) in there compared to 3 pieces a few weeks back.Awesome news! So you've gone from gaping wound to "superficial" - nice work![]()
Oh I've been up and about for a while, occasional shopping trips, been to cinema once or twice. I'm still not doing a lot, but then again I never did a lot.Good news. Soon you'll have to get up and do some actual moving about and doing things for yourself... bummer.![]()
I think that's part of the problem, I have so much built up on my media centre(around 150 hours of recorded TV) and DVDs (christmas prsents or stuff I've bought while recovering) it's kinda daunting thinking about watching it all.Brilliant news - well, apart from the bored bit! Get yourself some new DVDs to watch.
Yeah, the nurses are impressed how fast it healed, but by the sounds of it they're used to treating the elderly, and things taking forever.Sounds like you're well on the mend now!
Always knew Skutters had good self-repair systems...
