When the UFO hit the fan

hasn't anyone seen the video of a windmill tearing itself apart? I'm inclined to say that there may have been no aircraft of any kind involved . . . it could be pure and simple fatigue in the rotor blades

I was just digging up a video clip from February of one in Denmark shredding itself after a failure in the braking system which was supposed to keep the rotor from turning too fast.

It's not really surprising that UFOs crash into things all the time. The pilots are used to a lot of elbow room in interstellar space.

The trifoil intruder nets are working, people. Now we must move to intercept the subject.

All is good. All is good.

So aliens are just as bad at driving as humans are? When first contact is made, both species becoming extinct won't be because of war -- it's because everyone will be running over each other!

Yes a part of me wants to believe. A part of me would also like to believe that aliens are more than just Jim-Bob in a space SUV toolin' around the countryside and might, just might, have the technology to detect these windmill things when they probably have the ability to miss asteroids and such :D

I don't want a mundane reason or an accident. I want my aliens shot down, or just out and out landing...not driving into rather large objects in the countryside ;)

Alien kids? That would explain a lot.

"I told you not to buzz Earth on the weekends, Znarg! Look at that fender on the Flying Saucer! No Hypernet for a week!"

Has the Daily Express been trying to say that it was a windmill in that tunnel in Paris in '97 or that the turbine was hit by a mysterious white Fiat?

(I only know about the Express based on the comedy shows I listen to from the UK :))
