Super Size Me. It got to the point where I just wanted to vomit every time they showed him eating McDonalds. It was particularly nasty because it was real.
I want to vomit whenever I *see* a McDonalds.Super Size Me. It got to the point where I just wanted to vomit every time they showed him eating McDonalds. It was particularly nasty because it was real.
The kerbing in American History X is also disturbing, but the rest of the film is OK, so it doesn't get the overall title.
Reservoir Dogs. When Michael Madson cuts off that police officer's ear, I about vomited.
Kinda sorta. The camera does have Madsen's character fighting to cut the ear off with a straight razor(?) Maybe it's because I've had several ear surgeries, including one where my outer ear was actually cut off and sewn back on, which makes that scene hit close to home.Reservoir Dogs. Really? It's not even that graphic. The camera pans away when it happens, and all you see is Madsen walking around with a fake ear. It's pretty tame, as far as movie dismemberments go.
That's what immediately came to mind for me when I read the thread title. I have to look away every time that scene comes on. Great movie, but damn that scene is hard to take.

It's not just seeing it, it's hearing the dude's teeth rub against the pavement in preparation.

Street Trash (1986 I think). But then again I like gory movies. With the notable exception of the Saw franchise. What's those movies purpose again?

Yep, that was some great sound work. Totally sells the moment.![]()

Oh god, yeah. I forgot about that. It's giving me chills just thinking about it.
Speaking of the curbing in AMX, I presume that would kill you? It's just I recently finished The Sopranos, and Tony does it to someone near the end, yet it only knocks his teeth out there
