Star Trek Zero Font

Does anyone know the name of the font/typeface used in the viewscreen/window and on the hull of the Enterprise for Star Trek Zero (2009)?

Meaning the new theatrical film that comes out in May, I guess?

They're calling it ZERO?!

No, they're really, really not. The name of the film is Star Trek. That's all. No "Zero," no "XI," no subtitle, no bloody A, B, C, or D. I think the original poster is nicknaming it "Star Trek Zero" by analogy with the "#0" prequel or preview issues of various comic books, or is imitating somebody else who nicknamed it that. Anyway, I think it's the first time I've ever heard that particular nickname.

I've seen it on a number of fan sites, actually, and it makes some sense as a 'nickname' to distinguish is from other Treks.

Anywho, if someone can give me a clean image of the registry, I'll see about a font match up.

Writer Roberto Orci referred to the movie as Star Trek Zero in an interview at trekmovie.com meaning that you didn't need knowledge of the previous television shows or movies to enjoy the new film. I thought that it had another meaning too. You reset a counter to zero. So the name is also a reference to a reboot. IMDB lists Star Trek Zero as the working title for the new film.

I used it because I thought that it was humorous. I didn't intend to cause panic among fellow Star Trek fans and I would like to apologize for doing so. I presumed that others also knew about the origins of Star Trek Zero. Please accept my sincere apology.

Would anyone happen to know the name of the typeface/font used for the view screen graphics and the registry and ship on the outside of the new Enterprise?

Oh yeah, I vaguely recall that. But it was just a nickname.

IMDb is often wrong. Probably some guy read the Orci interview and mistakenly interpreted his nickname as an actual working title.

Bruckner's two "student" symphonies are known as 0 and 00 to give something before the numbered ones 1 to 9.
