Picked up a new printer. I've needed a wireless one for ages, and finally got a decent one today (HP C4580). A breeze to set up & works great. And I got it for about 35% off the retail price, which was nice.

I'd love a wireless printer but my current one keeps insisting on working. :p

I know, my old Canon is about 8 years old, at a guess, and still working perfectly. I just got fed up with having to move every time I needed to print something off the laptop. Now I can be even lazier! :)

I put the old one up on eBay at a 99p starting price. Hopefully someone will take it off my hands because I don't know what to do with it. I don't think I can just throw it in the bin; printers must have toxic stuff in them somewhere.

I hit the mall today to stock up on necessities. I got some shampoo/ conditioner from Aveda for my itchy dry scalp. Then I hit Sephora for some powder and makeup remover.

Then it was off to Petco to try and find a replacement for the cat toy we lost and a brush for Bev. I only came back with a sweet deal for a huge bag of "our cat litter."

Finally, I went to Whole Foods, aka, "Whole Paycheck" and bought some groceries for all of us. We'll be eating chicken for a while. And I got some Sandalwood incense and an incense holder.

You're correct. In fact, I don't think the city I live in allows them to be thrown into regular trash. Another option is to donate used office equipment - there are plenty of non-profits that need equipment.

I bought yet another pair of jeans, and they should be arriving in the mail any day now.

It has a little lace embellishment up the side of the leg. I can't wait to get it!

Good idea! I'll look into that if no-one bites by the end of the auction.

I also bought a pair of jeans today. No lace embellishment though. I think I'm happy with that...

^

I went book shopping again today :techman:

Oh, and I bought some hair colour...nasty grays are about to be abolished!

I bought "Iron Man" on DVD, managed to grab one of the Limited Edition Mask ones. Also ordered "Juno" and "Charlie Wilson's War", but they where apparantly not instock even though it clearly said so when I ordered....

Oh, and I bought some hair colour...nasty grays are about to be abolished!

I just saw that ep of TNG yesterday where Deanna ages rapidly due to the guy she's with transferring all his negativity to her (a metaphor for marriage or what?). She gets this wicked "badger's streak" of grey hair which looked very hot when she did her hair up. Greys aren't always nasty!

(I look forward to greying temples. I have a handful of strands of grey on each temple for the moment.)

Temple grays ala Mr. Fantastic are sexy on a guy...not so much on a woman :(

Well, I can't say I was always so philosophical about my greys - the first one or two I saw, I was positively shocked! I think another couple of strands changed colour immediately in response to the fear generated... :D

I rather like the severity, if that's the right word, of a few greys, esp. on a background of relatively darker hair (black, brown, auburn, etc). I think the attractiveness of the contrast is there for both men and women.

Then again you have better taste than the average Joe. ;)

Since Trader Joe's doesn't have miso I went to Whole Foods for the stuff for my Asian Salad. Crusher is right - Whole Paycheck is more like it. Of course it didn't help that I grabbed a few things that would never make it into this salad like dark chocolate, aged manchego and fig spread. :p

Very dark, grey/green, nabuk, driver moccasins to wear for work. No one really wears this type of thing anymore, but I've just loved them to death for a while now, and bought a pair, on impulse. I'm so pleased with them, I can't wait for my next job so I can wear them, even though they're not really winter shoes. I hope it will be a dry day... *Fingers crossed*
