One Picture To Define Fanboy:

It looks nice, though the extra nacelles are too much. What's the point of the picture (or what are you trying to say)? Is it for something like a video game or...?

Yeah, maybe!

You see, many fans would consider the starship in that link to be a fan's dream...but that fan would be one that is too concerned with phaser fights and space battles than with good story-telling.
The large number of nacelles and even the name of the ship make one think that a 13 year-old created it.
Heck, I know I would've liked it when I was 13...which was the age I became a Trek fan.

when will people realize it's not the number of nacelles that provide the power to a starship, it's the warp core?

The number of nacelles is a bit nutty, and the ship class ("super carrier") seems poorly thought out. I wouldn't kitbash something out of the Sovereign design if I wanted a carrier, much less a "super" one.

Time for that image of a Galaxy-class ship with thirty-seven nacelles to reappear.

Yeah, I was aware of the lineage of the name, I should have been more precise and said that the usage of that name made me think a 13 year-old created it.
Indefatigable is another fanboy-favorite which also has roots in the Royal Navy, but still sounds so, well, fanboy.

Nah, it doesn't have quite enough nacelles to be truely over-the-top fanboi. ;)

Aaaaanyway...
If you're gonna do four nacelles, you should arrange them with radial symmetry, not stack them all on top.

You're right, of course, but I just wanted to point out that the name has a long history of very real ships! :)

Aside from that, the ship does look utterly ridiculous. I've never seen the point of adding extra warp nacelles. It looks so inelegant :brickwall:

One more nacelle in the centre and a 0 at the start of the registry and I think we've got a winner :bolian:

TEH NACELLEZ WILL ALSO SHOOT OUT THE ANTI-TRANS-PHASE-QUANTUM TORPEDOZE!!!21!2!

Trying to figure out how that pod is attached makes my head hurt. The front and back view show it connected to the saucer, but the side view makes it seem like it's freeloading off of the nacelle pylon. And it's not even there in the dorsal view.

It can be done.

....I think...

Admittedly, I was trying to be fanboy with the Coeur de Lion and the Belisarius, just to see if I could make something sensible out of the idea.

^ the only one of them i like is the Kirov. the other three are fugly. that coeur de lion, wouldn't wanna be a shuttle pilot... you go to fast out the bay and you slam into a nacelle!
