Professor Randy Pausch also died during production, and he was in the movie, so I wonder if this film will be dedicated to the both of them?

Such a wonderful lady and such a tremendous loss for Trek.
It's strange. Like everyone here, I didn't see this coming. I also didn't think it would effect me like it has. I am more than a little emotional right now. I never met her but in a way I felt I knew her.
She gave a computer its voice, Jean Luc a run for his money and Odo a much needed friend... our sweet funny Auntie Mame of the Galaxy is gone.
And TrekMovie.com passed on a way to make donations in her honor: CARE Organization or Precious Paws. Both are amazingly worthy causes and fitting for such a great lady.
I'm shocked to hear this. I had no idea she was ill.
I remember hearing her speak at the first convention I ever attended. We've lost a fine woman.

I thought that at first, myself. However, a friend who has worked with Majel and Eugene confided that it was "out of the blue" only because her health problems had been kept out of the news and public eye for quite awhile.
This is terribly saddening news. For all of us here to which Star Trek means so much, this is a big loss.

She was the only Trek icon I'd actually like to meet (xcept for Gene of course). I am so going to miss her.

I didn't know she was doing the voice in the new movie so that makes me a little happy in a weird kind of way. It'll be nice, if a little sad, to hear her voice one more time.
Count me among those who think the movie should be dedicated to her.

Sad news. I'm glad she was able to record her scenes for the film, it seems a fitting dedication for someone who has been a key part of the franchise right from the start.

If, however, you mean different series and films then quite possibly. She appeared in all five live action series, TAS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise (she reprised her TOS-era computer voice in "Through a Mirror Darkly" and her TNG-era computer voice in "These Are the Voyages") as well as all of the films except The Undiscovered Country. She will again voice the computer in the new film.

Yeah, she would have to be. She was in every TV and movie incarnation of Trek either in person or voice except for ST:II, III, V, & VI I believe. She was in the first TV episode and the last TV episode, in the first movie and the most recent (upcoming) movie. She even did several of the games.

He said "including voice" though. I think she probably has Dorn beat if you combine voice and onscreen appearances.
[edit again] Never mind. She has 134 total appearances, not counting non-Chapel/Number One TOS appearances where she was uncredited as the computer voice (I'm not sure how many episodes we heard her voice). Dorn did more than that between TNG, DS9, and ST:VI, though the article doesn't list his total number of Trek appearances.

Dorn has made 277 TV appearances and appeared in 5 films (including his appearance as Colonel Worf in TUC).
My mistake - you are right, she did not appear in the films you mention.
She did not voice the station computer in Deep Space 9, that was Judi Durand. Durand also voiced various Federation computers in the films Majel missed and she stood in for Majel as the 24th century Starfleet computers in various video games as well.
