Agreed. I never cared much for her Trek characters, but it's always sad when somebody passes.
Boy, this year never lets up does it? 
I'm pretty certain that yes, she had completed her work.
^According to imdb.com, she had finished it. I hope they dedicate the film to her!

By Hollywood tradition, an episode or film is dedicated to any member of cast or crew who dies during production, however minor that person is - episodes of Trek have followed this in the past.

So if Majel had completed her voicework, would it have been possible for her to see a completed print of the film? I wonder what she thought of it.
I didn't know she was sick, either. I'm shocked.
I'm glad she's in the new movie. She was there right at the very beginning and she was there at the end of her life. But she'll always be with us as the first Number One, Nurse Chapel and Mrs Troi.
