John Smiths Extra Smooth is my second favourite. You obviously don't know what great tasting beer is.

Those are some damn good beers. Sadly, Smithwicks is pretty rare around here. Fuck, it's so sad to walk into an Irish bar and even they don't have Smithwicks.

At the supermarket I usually buy Tyskie or Zweic, both Polish.

I'm Polish and even I won't drink Tyskie. Hell, I get shit at Polish bars because I won't drink it, just happened the other night actually.

Well I like it anyway, I like a lot of central european beers, the aforementioned Budvar is very nice as well.

I kind of like wheat beer. The malty taste is pretty cool.

Come to think of it, I really look forward to a Castel beer whenever I go to eat zilzil tibs in Ethiopian restaurants. They go together like tea and biscuits.

^ Oh, I went to an Ethiopian restaurant not long ago and had Tibs, it was very good. That Injeera bread is fantastic stuff. They served Harar beer, which was also very nice.

At any rate, my current favorite is Warsteiner Oktoberfest.

I like Wexford cream ale too, when I can find it.

PingBah, I love it that it's all still rather undiscovered, so you can have extremely good quality well prepared meat and beer at a decent price, fab! Not to mention the incense, and smokey atmosphere, back when it was still legal to smoke in restaurants... you still kind of get the same feel from the frankincense (not a damaging sort of smoke at all), which lends itself well to the laid back ambiance.

There are lagers, beers, pilsners, stouts, ales, and barley wines Me, I'm a big ale drinker and it's hard to pinpoint my "favorite" suds. Pyramid makes a great Winter Ale, and the Sam Adams brewery has some great winter fare. I love most of the brews from Boulevard (Zon is the perfect summer drink) as well as those from the Flying Dog Brewery.

I live near a rather large polish community and I hit those bars with my friend who lives there. Pretty good bars and I like Polish girls. But I catch shit for not speaking Polish (well) and being a pretty hardcore Italian. Fun stuff.
