T.O. for all of his talent comes off as being very insecure.

He should be insecure: He's overrated. The man is tremendously skilled, granted, but has an appalling tendency to drop passes he should catch.

I've never heard but good things about Tony Romo as a person. Perhaps that's a creation of his publicist, but ... it's difficult to feign such genuineness for long. I think he's a nice kid with the misfortune of playing quarterback for Satan's Minions.

Bet you didn' tknow that Tony Romo's middle name is really "Lucifer - bringer of the long bomb".

I'm surprised not to see JKTim in here ranting about how the Bears almost gave another game away.

I wasn't able to see it, since it was on the NFL Network.

So, all I'm taking away from the game is the knowledge that when the game is on, I can rest easy, knowing that the kick will be good as Gould.

Either you've been hanging around ME too long, or you've been spending too much time in QSF. :p

I don't know much about Romo as a person, so I can't speak to his attitude.
I am NOT a 'boyz fan, but I do like Tony Romo. He doesn't get all bent out of shape when people attack his girlfriend, but he does defend her. He doesn't lash out at anyone. Even now, he is standing with his team. Supposedly, he has helped random people with car problems and taken a homeless man to see a movie with him... So I like what I hear about Tony. And we should remember that if Tony doesn't bobble that snap, them boyz win that playoff game a few years ago. In regard to that, how many teams have their starting qb holding for field goals and extra points? I couldn't blame him if he had something a little more important on his mind

He is afraid of becoming irrelevant... which he is. Hopefully the boyz will cut him after this season, and then his choices are to retire or to play on a lower tier team, because I doubt any quality team would want him

I'm sick and tired of all the Cowboys talk. I'm glad they are dysfunctional. They're not going anywhere and that's a great thing.

As for something really important, at least to me, the Niners are in Miami this week on their quest to go 8-8. Even without Gore, this seems like a winnable game, but I'm still a bit nervous. Hopefully they can get it done.

I was thinking about you on the non pass interference call though. If the Bears had lost man your reaction would have been priceless. ;)

I think he saw his replacement walk through the door when the Roy Williams trade went down.

Always a good day when there's Cowboys chaos

Shaun Hill for MVP!

If he'd open his eyes - and his mind for that matter - he'd see that the more options an offense has, the more successful it will be. New England is a perfect example. Granted, last year Randy Moss caught what .... 20+ TD passes. This year he hasn't caught anywhere near as many, but he's not griping about a thing, at least not that I've heard.

Huh... never thought I'd see the day when I'd be pointing out Randy Moss as a positive example.

The starting three wide receiver set for the 2009 Oakland Raiders -- Chad Johnson, Plaxico Burress and Terrell Owens!

Well let's not get ahead of ourselves.

I will say though he has played for the starting role next year.

In training camp he was playing for the starting job until O'Sullivan showed up.

And I'm still scratching my head why O'Sullivan got the starting job.

Walk it back.

Where did Martz come from?
Where did O'Sullivan come from?
Does Martz want to be a head coach?
What gets a head coach fired quickly?

There was some speculation that Martz pushed O'Sullivan as the starter to sabotage Nolan and shorten his tenure so that Martz could get named head coach, at least on an interim basis.

Look at the horrible clock management and play calling at the end of Shaun's first game in Arizona. The 49ers were in a position to win the game and an offensive genius didn't know the position of the ball on the field and calls the wrong play for the down and distance?

I think the 49ers beat Miami this week. Shaun plays with heart and emotion - that play against Arizona where he got his helmet pulled off but kept going for the first down I think lit a fire under a lot of guys.

And have you noticed who's a model citizen since he got sent to the locker room? Vernon Davis.

Singletary's got something, but how long will it be effective?

As a Cardinals fan, I'm hoping the Niners pull the plug on Singletary ... because I think he can right that ship in a season or two. I'd much rather SF remain an impotent also-ran rather than becoming a genuine threat again.

I’d like to take this opportunity to express again my hatred for the Dallas shitheads. I hate everything about them. I hope they lose every game from now on until forever. I’d like to take their freaking helmets with the stars on them and pump them all into a black hole which they’ll never emerge.

I hope the Cowpukes lose their ass, their new stadium collapses in on them, and a terrible plague infects all their fans. Most especially I hope all the Cowpattie fans living in Houston immediately lose all worth in their 401Ks and end up greeting folks in Wall Mart for a living.

I could think of more but I’m sure yall get the point. Fuck the Cowpies.
