Was Michael Dorn asleep in that car in Nemesis

I'm watching Nemesis for the first time since it came out just to see if its still as bad as it was, and it looked like he was asleep.

Probably was freeezing cold, since every behind the scenes pic of the shoot in that valley, they're wearing huge coats.

Honestly he probably closes his eyes due to the sunlight, I doubt those goggles they put on the bunch of them would have been even 10% as helpful as a $2 pair of sunglasses.

Or he was scared to death riding in the back with Patrick Stewart driving and praying to get out of those scenes alive.

Didn't you know? Klingons have a special psionic ability where when they are asleep the bad guys have a harder time shooting at them. He was sleeping at triple his usual rate in order to extend that psionic shield over both of his comrades. Worf also apparently fell asleep with one or two hands clutching the trigger.

Stewart Drove for a lot of the scenes, but there were some specific moments where they required a stunt driver and passengers.

I can't find it now, but I know there's a behind-the-scenes still of the buggy jumping out the back of the shuttlecraft where it's painfully obvious that Stewart and Spiner are not the people seated up front.

There's an interview I read in which Stewart mentioned that while he had fun driving Dorn was in the back bouncing around using foul language at the displeasure of the ride.

Yep. Stewart even asked for them to give him the buggy at the end of shooting but they turned him down.

If Worf, he was probably still a little hungover from the wedding.
