Devonshire sat forward, hands clasped together on the polished table. ‘Then what was in the files is correct? The Kel are some kind of lifeform, probably energy based, incredibly powerful and able to assume any form they choose from the size of a man to something capable of crushing a starship. They are also, unless you were exaggerating, impossible to kill.’
‘We were not exaggerating,’ said Ishikawa.

But can they possibly survive?
Janeway nodded. ‘You realise, of course, that this would be a suicide mission for you and your crew?’
One thing is certain, expect more than one surprise along the way…
‘Is that who I think it is?’ gasped the Admiral now.
‘If you believe me to be Khan Noonian Singh, then you are correct,’ and the genetically enhanced superman gave a tiny bow. When his head lifted he let a flicker of a smirk play across his lips. ‘However if you think I am someone else I cannot help you.’
Janeway focused on Hernandez. ‘Captain, I think you have some explaining to do.’

Hernandez, Ishikawa, Devonshire, Gerrex, K’Thell, Traegher, Fontaine, Ramplin, Raam, Carpenter…who will live? Who will die?
