The options in this poll are not a good indication of how I feel. I cannot vote for the "Outstanding" one but the one below is more critical than how I feel.

Please use better judgement when proposing a poll next time.

I haven't listened to the commentary on the Clone Wars "movie" yet so I wasn't aware of that although it makes sense and, frankly, I'm glad that they're doing it that way since we have already seen so much of Anakin and Obi-Wan in most of the previously released PT material and so little of the rest of the Jedi. For instance, next week, it looks like we will get to see a Mon Cal Jedi who, although doesn't appear to be a main character, represents the fact that the series is definitely trying to branch out from only showing well-established characters.

Correct. The idea and pitch of this show seemed to be that there are just so many more stories to tell within this time period other than the Anakin Skywalker story. We already know that story, so what's happening elsewhere?

The return of Assaj's ghetto booty!

Maybe she's just easier to animate in battle without the loin cloth skirt.

Sith aren't gonna keep many useful idiots if they keep offing them every outing.

The duel had an Episode 1 feel.

Liked Luminara, great voice and fighting ability.

That was Olivia d'Abo, who has an utterly gorgeous voice.

Heh, I really dug that voice as well. I liked Luminara quite a bit, a pretty good episode considering none of the traditional stalwarts were present.

I also liked the diligent little sentry droid and seeing how Asaaj Ventress was just a little too much for his ardent efforts.

My favorite episode yet. I always thought Luminara and her padawan were cool looking so it was great to see her brought to life. And I thought she brought out some less annoying qualities of Asokha.

The saber fight was very Phantom Menace. I liked seeing new facets like the special non-clone soldiers. I also like that this show gives so much characters to the droids.

I didn't know they were using celebrity voices like Justice League used to. I'm going to start looking at the credits.

What I liked was how, when Luminara found the droid buried under rubble, she took a second to set it upright and let it go on its way. You don't always see that sort of kindness toward droids from SW characters, and the fact that it was so casual, as if she just took it for granted that it was the right thing to do, speaks well of her character.

Between this episode, her brief but impressive (if oddly voiced) appearance in the first Clone Wars series, and the novel The Approaching Storm, I've become a huge fan of Luminara Unduli.

I liked that too actually.

Just started watching with Episode 7. This one was ok and the weakest I have seen yet. Not an Ahsoka, Luminara, or Ventress fan, but it was a pleasant surprise to hear James Marsters as the shady Senate guard.:techman:

I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I'm enjoying this show. I watch it with my 3-year-old son, who's really too young to understand it, but he likes the colors and effects, and I think he has a little crush on Ahsoka. In fact, he calls the show "Ahsoka!"

I think Ahsoka's my favorite character.

Set up nicely with the troopers calling it by its "nick-name" showing its sensitivity.

Sometimes the show is a bit limited by its premise where its always a battle of some sort but they often do pretty well within the constraints.

I have thoroughly enjoyed what I have seen of the Clone Wars movie and TV show so far, but does it annoy anyone else when Anakin calls Ahsoka snips?

Oh, man! I thought he was calling her "nips" all this time. Which I thought was highly inappropriate given her age.

But seriously when I saw the movie in theaters that's what I thought I heard. This is why I need closed captioning!

My father would learn your name once and then never call you that again (if he liked you. ;)) His siblings, his kids, his employees... He'd learn a single trait about you and brand you with it for life.

Coming from a heavily nicknamed family I've never been remotely bothered by a cute little nickname like "snips" that actually fits her to a tee.

"Skyguy" is a little weird. Basically a teeny bopper flirt fest, but I just let it wash past me now.

Just got Star Wars Insider #106, with Anakin Skywalker on the front from The Clone Wars series, not sure which episode though. Some news on the series, have not read all of it yet

Why does he call her Snips?

Why does he call her Snips?

Because she is kind of snippy
