It would be so...them. Perfection in their grasp, the chance to make history and they'll throw a win in there at the last possible moment. Goddamn motherfuckers. I hate them.

:guffaw: :guffaw:
Anyone can hate their own team. It takes a real man to hate their own team for winning! :techman:

Oh...my...GOD!

You know what the difference is between the Rams' Offense and a 400 lb. woman with head lice and a colostomy bag?

The 400 lb. woman with head lice and a colostomy bag still manages to SCORE ONCE IN A FUCKING WHILE!!!

I mean seriously, what the fucking fuck???

Another sloppy, listless, heads up their asses, who cares? performance by a bunch of slack-jawed dipshits who should be ashamed to cash their paychecks. At least TRY, YOU ASSHOLES! ACT LIKE YOU CARE that you're getting run up and down the field like a chess nerd on the flagpole at lunch.

I swear to All That Is Holy, Carrie had a better time at the fucking prom than I'm having this season watching you shit yourselves in public every goddamned week....

:scream:

:brickwall:

We're 0-13!!! YES! We suck! You can't even argue our future looks bright, and the best bit? We can go 0-16. Everyone around Detroit is still chanting "Yes, we can." A look at our remaining schedule:

Indianapolis Colts (9-4) -- Luckily, this one is at the RCA Dome, meaning we finally can watch the Lions on the teevee! Yay!

New Orleans Saints (7-6) -- Honestly, Drew Brees could sit in the corner, jack off, and never line up behind center and he'd still break the passing yard record in this game. They'd also manage to score 28 points by having Reggie Bush do the electric shuffle.

Green Bay Packers (5-8) -- It's at Lambeau field, the last time the Lions won at Lambeau in December? Who the fuck knows? Not even ESPN cares because it's the Lions. Though, I can't wait to see the graphic they have for 0-16!

I was rooting harder for the Lions to beat the Vikes than I was for my Packers to win. But somewhere between my 8th and 9th beer, everything went south. The Packers showed once again that they can't stop the run, and as much as I hate to say it, they're a below average team. But I would'nt have minded the Packers losing so much if the Lions would have just beat the fricking Vikes.

Living in "Mud Duck" land, I have a long week ahead of me.

Eagles fans threw snowballs at drunk Santa in 1968 because their team was blowing a chance at a really high draft pick by WINNING the game. The Eagles finished 2-12 that year, after starting 0-11. Just wait - you'll pull off a win, pelt someone with snowballs, and be maligned for years!

A couple of 'toons about the Bronocs.

The Broncos are one of those teams I silently root for because I like the QB(Vandy alum).

Weekend NFL talk of 2+ pages and I didn't see a single comment about those Titans clinching the Division. :D

Peter King's East Coast bias is so apparent that he still keeps the Giants in his #1 spot after losing to Philly this week and having 2 loses. :scream:

Liked how the Steelers pulled out the win with some help from the NFL's current overrated QB in Romo. :guffaw:

The Jets who were once the darlings after beating us have lost two straight. Brett I love you but the Jets situation has gone from in control to risking being out of control.

Warner, another QB I like(except that '99 year), and the Cards doing nicely out in the West.

What is going on in Miami? Seems the Pennington trade has largely benefited all parties. Will the next few years see the 2nd coming out of Chad??

Staying in my division it was nice to see the Texans win. That team has stayed just a great player or two from really breaking out and as long as its not just yet I'm enjoying them.

The Colts are a team I fear is actually starting to rise at the right moment. Peyton is back and if you've not noticed they have won 4 or 5 in a row. Not a team I want to face right now but we have them in 3 weeks. Depending on how the playoff picture looks I could see it being either ugly or sloppy...maybe both if we both have secure seeding.

As a Texans fan, I can tell you how to beat Green Bay. You turn the ball over to them four times like the Texans did and they'll be so gratefull they'll let you have the game. Seriously, it worked for us.

Yep, Hillis is number 8 to take a beating. Fortunately, Selvin Young is supposed to be returning next week (of course, Bailey has been slated to return every week for the past month, so who knows if we'll ever see Young either). I'm hearing two different stories on Hillis. An article was reporting that Hillis is out the rest of the season while Yahoo is saying that he is "day-to-day". I hope he recovers soon!

EDIT- I take that back... Hillis is officially on IR. :( I guess he has a 2-3 inch tear in the hamstring muscle and they'r perdicting at least an 8 week recovery period. Like I said above, I hope when next season rolls around, we get to see him and Pittman as the premier backs.

Damn. It makes me think the Broncos running backs wear red jerseys in practice the way they've gone down this year.

Oh.....So true...*sniff* So pitifully true....:(

Has anyone else been watchign this Carolina/Tampa game tonight? Fun! THey were trading touchdowns until a bit ago when Carolina got TD's on back-to-back possessions.

That's what I was refering to with the comment bout Refs. Lousy call on the early fumble by the Bucs. Good game for sure, glad the Panthers are winning.

I love the Bucs, I am from Florida and root for all Florida teams, but my fave is the Jaguars and the Panthers are their sister team so I always root for them. My NFC Jags. ;)

Jags fan, huh? How do you feel about them signing Garard to that big contract? He seems to have been a disappointment this season, but maybe it hasn't been his fault.

The NFL officiating has had its forgettable moments for sure, but I'm not so sure it outstrips teh NCAA gaffes. Maybe there's something in the air, or some diseas affecting only people wearing black-and-white striped clothing.

Garrard is the man. He is our QB and I think the BEST thing they did was sign him and Del Rio to long term contracts. The team had it's first taste of winning in the playoffs in nearly a decade, had alot of injuries to start the season, and not to mention it IS only his second year starting.

They have in my opinion one of the most talented rosters, the best coach in the league and a bright future. But like Freddie T said, it's probably the worst Jaguars team he's been on. They just have to bring it together as a team, not just a set of players, in the offseason and next year will be better.

Now they gotta get Mojo on a long term contract. This will be a great NFL city, last year proved it's possible and the fans down there have begun to latch on. It's still a few years off though and hopefully I'll be there by then. :)

I picked him up on Saturday for one of my keeper leagues: Should've know that'd be the kiss of death for him.

Good Monday night game. With those two defenses, I never would have guessed it'd end up being an offensive battle. I didn't really care who won (just rooting for my numbers), but it sure seemed like Carolina got hosed on a few calls.
