"Lost" "Trek"

Some of you laughed when I suggested that JJ, the ever PR MINDED producer that he is, would allow a 'pop' song to accompany the release of TREK XI. I still think it is very possible that one will.

I also think it is quite possible that somehow, someway, STAR TREK is going to get a 'mention' on the television show LOST for obvious reasons. TREK already benefits from being mentioned, nearly weekly, on THE BIG BANG THEORY. I think that both those shows, one televised on CBS, the other produced by JJ, will join the TREK XI PR campaign, in subtle ways and help amp the 'get out to see this movie' push that will come JUST in time for may-sweeps on TV.

I think its 50/50. JJ is mister PR. There is no better PR than a song that is put to 'coming attraction' images of the movie...

Nice young hip looking crew of actors...trying to introduce the movie to the very people who think PIMP MY RIDE is the next best thing since All in the Family...

We shall see...in fact I will go one step further...what ever the song ends up being? It will also end up on the SOUNDTRACK to the movie....

Yep...And I think Uhura's MOON song made it on the soundtrack of V...

I'm just saying that JJ ABRAMS is going to go all out and win new fans to Star Trek. And I believe he will use every form of modern PR he can..that means OPRAH..that means MTV that means Internet..and it definately means 'music'...I would not be surprised to see a pop song end up on that soundtrack as well...we shall see...
