2008 Movies You've Seen

I officially saw Punisher War Zone. It gets a B+, 3.5/4 stars, two thumbs up from me. It was surprisingly good and really captured the gritty, gruesome and goofy Punisher all as he's been portrayed since the early/mid 90's.

I will buy it on DVD.

so will I, such an underrated movie, and most likely the last punisher movie because of the box office numbers

I'm not much of a cinephile. Oh, I love movies. I just prefer to see em on DVD unless it's a major release that I'm really looking forward to. I've only seen 3 2008 movies thus far. These are:

AvP: Requiem - Made in 2007 but released in Jan 08. Bad move. Nuff said.

Indiana Jones 4 - Decent but not in the same league as the originals. My opinion may change on subsequent viewings.

The Dark Knight - Spectacular film. Best Batman big screen incarnation since Batman Returns.

Just saw a screener of Slumdog Millionaire. A+. It's now topped The Dark Knight and Definitely, Maybe as my number 1 movie of 2008.

Fantastic film. I cried for the last ten minutes straight because it was so joyous and awesome.

What the hell possessed you to buy Superhero Movie?
The main character's name is Rick Riker (What can I say? I love hearing that last name! ;) ), a superfluous Star Trek connection which was also reinforced by Christopher MacDonald (TNG's "Yesterday's Enterprise") and Brent Spiner's participation in the said spoof.

Plus, call me shallow, but the blonde girl in that film is hot and she has nice breasts.
