Never saw the original...good?
"They Live" is an unbelievably bad movie - worst non-musical made with a decent budget in the 1980s. Evidently it was popular enough to warrant interest in remaking it.
It's one of those "so bad it's good" movies, Dennis.
You cannot find someone who can deliver the chew bubblegum and kick ass line with the same...quality that Roddy Piper did.
No. Just, no.
Well, it seems like everything is getting remade, would be nice to see some originality. Though The Day The Earth Stood Still is an exception, because this one is about the environment, saving the environment and that is a good thing, plus it looks like there might be some unexpected things in ithttp://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/news/e3i5a49077a0f8280a0a2f6b81dab450127

awesome movie
i dont know why people get pissy about remakes.
unless they were taking the original off the shelves and replacing them
how bout the rock?![]()
The movie is known for a fight scene that lasts 5 1/2 minutes and for the line, "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum."
No writer is on board.
The quality wasn't that bad, but the premise was genius.
