Most annoying Christmas songs

Well it's that time of year now. Everywhere you go you can't help but hear those same old Christmas tunes. And I don't know about you but I find them all very annoying! :)

Pretty much every shop you go in you hear this crap, and if you're as unlucky as I am to work in a shop you'll have to put up with it all frakking day.

Personally I find them annoying as-
99% of them are total cack,
You just hear the same old songs over and over and over and get very sick of them very soon,
And mostly because shops don't play them to say "hey come on it's Christmas let's have fun" but to say"hey come on it's Christmas so you all better BUY BUY BUY!"

I keep hearing that Queen song "Thank God Its Christmas" which I think is awful, but if I had to pick one it would be Paul McCartney- "Wonderful Christmas Time"

Just stop, please. Everything about that song I just can't abide, and its on ALL THE TIME

 Anyway, if you're a Scrooge like me which do you find most annoying?

One of the local adult contemporary stations starts the "All Christmas Until Christmas" right after Thanksgiving :klingon: As such, I never listen to that station during the holiday season. Anyway, they always play that stupid, annoying, makes-me-want-to-jab-my-eardrums-with-a-pencil song, I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas. Back when I did listen to that station, it would literally be 15 minutes after they played that annoying song when some caller (usually some dopey woman) would call and request it, claiming, "I listen to your station every day and never hear that song". Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

The only exposure to broadcast music I have from Thanksgiving to Christmas is when I pass by the kitchen at work. Crapmas musak leaks out into the halls as I pass by. It is painful, but it could be a lot worse.

TV adverts get muted as soon as I can reach the remote

Alvin & The Chipmunks "singing" Christmas Don't Be Late. :klingon: I really would like to go Klingon on that recording.

That one that goes like "...three french toasts, two turtlenecks, and a beer" by whoever the hell it's by.
Jeff Foxworthy. His "Redneck" schtick expired ~1997.

Oh, no, it's not Jeff Foxworthy. The song is much older than that.

Edit: I remember who it is now. Bob & Doug MacKenzie, otherwise known (by me) as "Walking Canadian Clichés". :scream:

Ever seen Disaster Movie? That had a hilarious take on the Chipmunks.

I love Christmas music. I'm a total sap for it---but even I can't stand that damn song. I'm not sure you can even call it a "song." It's more like a "instant headache maker." :scream:

- Grandma got run over by a reindeer. It's retarded.

- The barking dogs who sing Jingle Bells.

- Any Alvin and the Chipmunks. High-pitched sped up voices are not amusing.

QFT. I swear the voices in my head tell me to kill people when I hear any of those.

"I want a hippotomus for Christmas". Shut up shut up shut up...

:scream: :scream: :scream: :scream: Thanks, now that's stuck in my head.

I hate the Paul McCartney song, too.

And every time I hear the Chipmunks, I want to get a gun and shoot a bunch of the little critters.
