Not the first time he's been owned by a safety.
That's actually very good.

He'll probably still get paid a $100K a game, life just ain't fair.

Yeah, but he'll spend three or four years in prison, first. He didn't have a permit for the gun, which is a felony offense in New York and punishable by a minimum of three and a half years in jail.
Son of a Filthy Whore!
Stupid Rams. The defense showed up. Steven Jackson showed up. Josh Brown showed up. But apparently, Marc Bulger decided to take the day off. He must have had a passer rating of about 7 today.
He's done. Finished. Game over, man.
Let's start scouting QB's in the draft.
Hell, the Rams could find some legally blind syphillis-ridden crack fiend with ricketts and a bum knee down at Laclede's Landing who could play better than this.
Goddamnit!!

I'll be surprised too. Justice generally seems to work a little differently for the rich and/or talented.Interesting, we'll see, I'll actually be shocked if he gets that. I expect he won't.
I also wonder how long Goodell is going to suspend him for.
I won't lie... I cheer against the Bears and the Rams for no reason other than I enjoy seeingJKTim's and 1001001's post game reactions.![]()
I've been thinking the same thing, especially when the Pats' Matt Light and the Phins Channing Crowder got into that nice little "hi, how are ya?" and were only fined but not suspended.I also wonder how long Goodell is going to suspend him for.
Goodell's Magic 8-Ball of Justice has been fucking wacky lately, given that Santana Moss just got docked $5,000 for throwing a punch at a guy's head, but Joey Porter got a $7,500 fine for trash talking.

I'd be shocked, too. Burress has deep pockets and the best lawyers money can buy. That said, his playing days for the Giants might be over. He's a distraction to the team, fans are sick of him and this latest stupid stunt could very well be see ya. As Mike Lupica of the New York Daily News put it:
So this distraction, this headline, is about a gun going off, in a season when Burress has already paid out more than $200,000 in fines to his team and to the league, has been suspended for one whole game (that one alone cost him $117,500 in missed salary) and part of another game. So this time it is a bit more serious than being late for team meetings.
(snip)
Now comes this "apparent accidental shooting" when he is out clubbing on a Friday night. The Giants should tell him to go now. That gun going off doesn't mean Burress is John Dillinger. Just that he is no longer worth the trouble.
Lupica
I wanted to read your post, but Mike Lupica is a barely functional retard.
