I'm dating an older woman!

She's not a cheater, Scott101. She spent a long time with her ex, many years before meeting me. Part of her soul was still tethered to him, until they had one last sex and finalized the divorce. I don't like it, I still see red picturing them together, but I completely understand.

Thanksgiving was great. My mom cooked a great meal and best of all my cousin and aunt weren't there! I don't know why and I didn't even ask. I just gave thanks for having a wonderful girlfriend and her two amazing kids in my life. I only thought about her sleeping with her ex ONCE during the whole meal and managed to not even show my rage.

She won't be getting pregnant, not yet, I'm not ready to be a father. I want to be one, I crave it, but I know I'm not ready yet. See, I can be mature. We use a lot of contraception. I guess one concern, and this did enter my mind recently, is that her biological clock is ticking faster than mine. But I still think we could wait five years and have a healthy baby.

The kids are doing great. The girl is still writing. She showed me a short story she wrote about a person who's internal organs come to life and start talking and it was quite dark and disturbing. It has stayed with me. She is going to be a bigtime riting star like Rowling or Tolkien or Mick Foley.

We love Chuck. He will find his place in the world eventually.

Everything is going great. You just have to accept that there will be bumps in every relationship and deal with them as they come.

Good boy. Learned your lesson.

Maybe they had their own Thanksgiving because they didn't want you around - or your non-relative life partner. (That didn't come out right. Or did it?)
It's not all about you, anyway.
I only thought about her sleeping with her ex ONCE during the whole meal and managed to not even show my rage.
Thanksgiving graces: "Thank you Lord for this overly bountiful, fat and a digestive hazard if a meal and for my girlfriend to have picked 21-year-old me over her ex-husband - it seems the problem wasn't in the bedroom - maybe she does like having a third kid around. Thank you for anger management - or is it that I'm too full already? Thank you Lord for keeping my crazy wanton lesbian of a Hell bait cousin away, and her aunt because I feel so guily about my greed towards her I can't show my face in her presence - or do I? Thank you for such a good mother...."
She won't be getting pregnant, not yet,
Thank God. Be mindful of the contraception anyway.
I'm not ready to be a father. I want to be one, I crave it, but I know I'm not ready yet. See, I can be mature.
Meh. Be a father to those 2 and get back to us.
We use a lot of contraception. I guess one concern, and this did enter my mind recently, is that her biological clock is ticking faster than mine.
Er... isn't that kind of negated by the fact she already has 2 kids?
But I still think we could wait five years and have a healthy baby.
Get back to us in five months.

Heard of Latin classics in school perhaps? Aesop's fable of the belly and limbs?
It has stayed with me. She is going to be a bigtime riting star like Rowling or Tolkien or Mick Foley.
Get back to us in...
Forget about it. I'll be an acclaimed riter before that.

Who's Mick Foley?
We love Chuck. He will find his place in the world eventually.
What the hell is his problem, anyway? Or is it you projecting?
Everything is going great. You just have to accept that there will be bumps in every relationship and deal with them as they come.
Gracefully. Not murderously, huh? Promise.

No, she's a cheater. The only question now is, who was getting cheated on? Either she was cheating on the husband with you because the divorce wasn't finalized, or she was cheating on you by banging the husband. No matter how you add it up, someone is getting cheated on...

Oh, and denial is the first step. :p

She won't be getting pregnant, not yet, I'm not ready to be a father.
I've never prided myself in being overly bright, but if you get serious with her, aren't you going to be the father of two little monsters? If not, now may be a good time to let her know that you're in it for the sex and not the family.

"Dark and disturbing" as in nuBSG dark and disturbing or one-of-Barney's-friends-stole-something-and-now-they-have-to-sing-a-song-about-how-wrong-it-is dark and disturbing?

She is going to be a bigtime riting star like Rowling or Tolkien or Mick Foley.
 I will give you some credit. At least you picked a wrestler who really did write a book. However, I'm willing to bet that it did well because wrestling fans like you wanted his autobio, not because it was quality material.

Oh, so "riting star" meant ring/writing star. I see.

No actually it was bloody good:techman:

Mick Foley, famed authour of children's book, Mick Foley's Halloween Hijinx and a few others.
We use a lot of contraception.
So, two rubbers or three?
(No, the question's rhetorical, I REALLY don't want an answer).

What? When I think of great literature, I think of Cactus Jack.

I thought everyone did...

Still no Stone Cold Stunner. :(

If you do one while eating ice cream is it a Cold Stone Stunner?

Well, MB needs to be careful... he was about to have 3 hit threads (aka hitting 1000 posts), but he's about to choke the life out of this one.

We have encountered another problem, but it's not down to either of us. It's Thames. He's been arrested for stealing his girlfriend's car and he wants me to bail him out. My girlfriend is against it.

I haven't seen him much lately, but the last time I did I warned him that his girlfriend was using him and cheating on him. She looks a bit like Megan Fox only not as hot and skankier. She's cheated on him but he said it was an "open relationship". When I asked why he didn't sleep with anyone else then he just pretend he had to make a phone call and walked behind a tree. I knew it would end badly for them. Did he listen? NO. I'm so mad at him.

He stole the car out of, in his words an act of "impotent desperation". He wanted to hurt her somehow and this was the best he could do. He only drove it ten miles! I've always lived by the creed "bros before hos" but I just don't know anymore. I'm grown up now in a proper adult relationship with kids to worry about, I can't be running around solving Thames' problems. He should have listened to my advice in the first place and none of this would not have happened! What a moronic fool.

What should I do? My girlfriend is STEADFAST that I shouldn't bail him out and I don't blame her. On the other hand he is my oldest and dearest friend. He's helped me out in the past. I'd feel slight guilt if I didn't help him today.

(Incidently, how do you spell "hos"? That doesn't look right and I wanted to type "ho's" but the apostrophe would be wrong since it's not possessive, it's plural. "Hoes" was another possibility but isn't that somet kind of farmer thing?)

Wouldn't the bail for grand theft auto be up there? Shouldn't that factor into your decision making? I'm glad Thames is back, who's next? Red or full blown Cousin return?

It's your money and it is up to you how you spend it. If you want to bail out a friend you can and she can't really say boo.

You can't really cheat on a person if it is an open relationship due to what an open relationship is - a non-exclusive relationship.

So he walked behind a tree...then what? Did he hide there until you left?

Bros before hos...wait, didn't you bone a chick after you became aware that Thames had a crush on her? The chick you made dirty bakery love with.

If it was my oldest and dearest friend I would have no qualms with paying his bail (as long as I could afford it), even if what he did was amazingly stupid and my friends and family were against it. They are my friend after all. I'd then have a serious talk with the friend and see if there was anything else I could do to stop this type of event occurring again.
