Someday Westboro is going to end up being the next Waco.
More hate and physical violence doesn't seem like the right way to marginalize these people.
^ Agreed. I can't help but feel we need to be taking a page from Martin Luther King's book on this. They may be desecrating the memory of dead soldiers and giving religion a bad name but I would never wish harm on them. Besides, they will be their own undoing. We just need to be patient.
As for this little incident, I am not surprised. People are growing tired of the extremists attempting to stomp on the rights of others and this kind of thing was bound to happen. And I have to say, these people take it to a level that would turn the strongest stomach so I am even more surprised that things didn't turn even more violent than they did.

By the students protesting violently they are looking like the ones on the side of wrong. Just like those attacking the Mormon churches now who can't accept, peacefully, the vote on prop 8. People are going to sympathize, if not side, with those they see as the 'victims.'
I did not hear that they did that. That does really anger me since when my grandmas die, i most likely won't be able to go since they're in Mexico.
I don't believe it's happened yet, but someone posted a link to their website that says it's on the schedule.
That's just ... well, coming from them i guess it shouldn't surprise me ...
They haven't had the funeral yet? Or is it a memorial service?
