Favourite Cancelled Series

"Freaks and Geeks" (I don't understand it's cancelling -- this was a good show)

"Angel" -- didn't even tie up.

"Firefly" -- Soon to come: "Dollhouse", thanks to the New Morons at FOX.

"MillenniuM" -- though it was loosing itself at the end.

"7 Days" -- but since the actress that played Olga hated the actor who played Parker, it was only a matter of time before the series came unwound.

"Time Trax" -- I think it had potential to be better and do more.

The ones that had the most untapped potential (and not counting DS9 or BSG which ended or are ending when they should):

Carnivale
Enterprise

Miracles
Invasion
Firefly
Jericho
Pushing Daisies
(probably)

I would echo many of the comments here, but my obvious favorite is Sliders (which was cancelled 3 separate times before it was over). Of course, season one and two are the seasons that define what the show should be, but there's some decent stuff buried amongst the wreckage of the later years too.

Enterprise
............
..........
........
Firefly
Pushing Daisies
Dead Like Me

maybe Angel too even though I think it had a kick-ass series two part finale but it had a LOT of potental left in it for at least a sixth if not seventh season.

I'm only including shows that I felt were really deserving of more seasons (though they are all among my all time favorites):

Arrested Development
Firefly
Futurama
Veronica Mars
Justice League Unlimited

I am absolutely gobsmacked... :wtf:

Enterprise (aka Star Trek: Enterprise) is getting waaaay more mention than Star Trek (aka Star Trek: The Original Series -- you know, "no bloody A, B, C, or D." Or X, for that matter).

I think Leonard McCoy said it best: "What is it with you?"

But don't mind me. I'm old.

Probably because they got movies to continue the story

Now and Again. Absolutely frelling brilliant, so naturally it was canned.

Dark Skies and an Australian show called State Coroner are other nominees. And if Pushing Daisies joins them in premature death, it'll be criminal.

Actual Cancelation:
Star Trek: Enterprise
Firefly
Farscape
Elfen Lied
Inu Yasha
Tenjho Tenge
Tokko

Not Neccessarily Canceled But Just Things I'd like more of:
3X3 Eyes
Ah! My Goddess
Ai Yori Aoshi
BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad
Birdy The Mighty: Decode
Claymore
Crest of the Stars/Banner of the Stars
D.Gray-man
Darker Than Black
Ergo Proxy
Full Metal Panic
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Kaze no Stigma
Kiddy Grade
Pumpkin Scissors
Red Garden/Dead Girls
Ryoko's Case File
Spice and Wolf
The Third
Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles
The Twelve Kingdoms
Witch Hunter Robin
XXXHolic

Shows that got cancelled fairly quickly (no more then two seasons):
- Firefly
- Dead Like Me
- Wonderfalls
- Surface
- Studio 60

Shows that lasted longer then that:
- Angel
- Farscape
- Veronica Mars
- Roswell
- The O.C.

Firefly. Hands down for me. I think it's the only cancelled show that I actually miss. I can't even watch it, I miss it that much. :(

Allow me to use it as well.....

Twin Peaks

Firefly
Brisco County Jr.
Pushing Daisies (this one mainly because it hit my gf hard)

Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - This was due to the Death of Jeremy Brett, not cancellation, but it would have been awesome had he lived to finish up everything.

Hmm, I'm surprised - so far, not one vote for Threshold! It wouldn't be anything to do with a certain person on the production staff would it?

Firefly: has to be top of the list, obviously.
Farscape: So close to being a complete series, just one more season.
Crusade: had some real potential, didn't deserve the abuse and short life it was given.
American Gothic: Gary Cole has just shit for luck, doesn't he?
Earth 2: From what I've read I'm not sure if it would have gotten better or worse had it continued, but it felt like a loss at the time.
Enterprise: If it had ended after the second or third series I wouldn't have minded, but the forth season changed that opinion.
