Pushing Daisies Slated For The Ax?

33,00 sigs in whatever is terrible. After Futurama was canceled they had 75,000 in less than three days. Yes it came back because the repeats did amazing, but it's a cartoon.

PD is dead, and rightfully so, no one watches not ABCs fault.

Awww..another show I like bites the dust.

I don't suppose we can have Ned touch it for us?

Looks like its slot might have been filled since ABC listen to well smart people and looks like LOST is being moved to WED 9pm after 5th season debut, meaning PP will have to move and the best guesses are Wed 8pm for Thursday 10pm.

^^ Almost any other show, period. :rommie:

Being on the same night as Lost will probably help it; I hope it lasts that long.

Too bad if it gets canceled - it's a good show.

But then, the American public doesn't like anything that pushes an envelope, creatively. They love 'predictable'.

I really don't understand why Fuller's shows haven't done very well. I love this show...and I REALLY loved Wonderfalls.

An attempt to joke about the nunnery plotline? :wtf:

Guess again.

No. Why don't you just tell us?

Ned's resurrection ability is inherently irreligious.

Not that I actually give a fuck what the answer is. I'm just bored I guess. :rommie:

I haven't watched the others but PD really didn't amp up the "what's at stake" element until this past episode. The audience didn't feel like something big was at stake for them to care about, and drifted away. Shows need to have a sense of urgency in order to hang on to an audience (it's not the only thing, but it's an essential thing).

Introducing the Man with a Gun last season (and not having a writers strike mess everything up) might have saved the show. There was the killer who was stalking Chuck at some point, right? What happened with that. Whatever the what's-at-stake element is, it needs to be followed up consistently.

Aunt Lilly/Mom blew him away at the end of the first episode, if you are speaking of Pee Wee Herman and his weird smell fixation, that ended when Chuck sent him away.

This show is just too unlike network TV, people aren't being taken hostage or shot enough I guess ;)

No, there was another stalker, the killer who originally suffocated Chuck. Wasn't he introduced at some point as being a potential threat? Or maybe I read something that implied he would be.

For that matter, the "old army buddy" could be the guy who killed Chuck!

Nope, that was the guy Aunt Lily shot in the first ep. When he saw Chuck at the house, he gave her a confused look and asked "didn't I already kill you?" Then Lily shot him and he went flying out the window.

Yep, he wanted the gold monkeys.

Must have been worth quite a bit, you would think Emerson wouldn't complain about money so much ;)
